As for making romaro captain I disagree son is a fine club captain off the field but we need to buy a captain in the summer to command that midfield we lack on field leadership

Dave dont be too down-hearted. Its a year 0 team. Agree with you that its needs a good bit of fine tuning and some of the spare wheels need to be changed for more relevant players to the system. Also the coaching team isnt entirely up to the job. They need better staff if any are available. I didnt think wed get anything from the last game, but we will do better against the Cski, pool and Citeh. Remains to be seen which Spurs turns up though.

I don't want to see Royal. Dragusin is a far better option. Play 3 at the back and allow Romero to play a hybrid 6/CB role. I also would rather Bentancur and LoCelso instead of Bissouma and Kulu. Vic, Vdv, Romero, Dragusin, Porro, Sarr, Bentancur, Lo Celso, Son, Richarlison, Johnson

Evey time chicken royal has played at left back he has been poor, I know options are limited there. I belive chelsea and Liverpool will both play the same way arsenal did and I expect a long week

We'll probably lose to Chelsea as well, Not got a good record there at Stamford bridge We always start off too slow like snails 😢 We only wake up at half-time 😮😮 Especially playing out from the back as slowly as we do with this ridiculous high line 😮 Unless this changes I can see more defeats like this 😮 Don't rate BISSOUMA or HOBJBERG... BISSOUMA IS too slow 🦥 and Error prone . We need a WORLD CLASS defensive midfielder who can tackle and close down the Spaces, we simply have to get closer to the opposition when we don't have the ball 🏀 As for Madison, think he needs to be played further up the pitch so he can feed Son and Brennan Johnson, but in truth we need a decent Striker a kane type of Striker who can get us 20-30 games a season 😊

im not expecting anything form this game we have had far better teams than this one go there and be routed its a cursed venue for us the problem is not the highline its the forward area they dont create anything with the possesion and get sloppy if we utilised it alot more and became a lot more clinical the high line would not even be a conversation go and listen to what many opposition managers has had to say on spurs after playing us

i have never said he is above criticism but we asked questions about jose and contes tactics to so where does it stop doing the same thing over and over again is not going to fix it at some point you have to ask does he have a squad to compete like Liverpool or Arsenal etc do ? the problem is not any managers tactics the problem is we show no manager patience and expect them to turn a losing team from the previous regime into title contenders we will never win anything like that and at some point like it or lump it we have to go through a pain barrier with some manager to come out the other side
