I believe that one good season he had back in the day, he caught lightning in a bottle. He's had plenty of opportunities to get that form back and even got a goal or two during his last season. Unfortunately he lacks the consistency we require. If he's not at least showing signs of improvement at this point, I'm afraid he might have to be sent back to Leipzig.

Some of his play is quite good, and he does try, but in front of goal he is completely devoid of confidence and conviction

Chelsea fan here, the problem with Timo is when his team mates stop believing in him and stop giving him the key passes he needs when he gets a rare chance. Back to Leipzig for sure

i get it but imo he has had more than enough key passes the problem is he’s just been shocking in front of goal, even in our last match in the 45 min he played he had 2 key chances to score and squandered both

@@SherpaK_ I get that he missed but from what I remember, Mikey had a key chance which he missed (created by Werner himself) and Richy had 0 chances. Sure he misses them, but he also gets into positions to take the chances in the first place. Very disappointing season so far regardless.

All our players but especially the young ones are very lucky to have Ange as their Manager/Mentor. Great futures for them all if they keep their feet on the ground and embrace the teachings of Postecoglu. COYS!

Mikey is one of the luckiest players. Many years ago after Melbourne and before Brisbane, Ange managed the Australian youth squad. He is extremely astute with youth players and how to promote them without breaking and ruining them. I hope for both of them (as a long suffering Spurs fan) they make the best of it and all three teenagers we have in the squad have long careers with our team! COYS
