@@lewisunderwood5248you can’t possibly be serious... It’s the eighth richest club in the world, well above PSR & cut the wage bill AGAIN when it was already low. Highest ticket prices in Europe & we’re doing “at least we don’t have to operate like Brighton or Brentford” come on man. 16 managers in 24 years with 1 trophy, how is he still avoiding blame for this?! Worst injury crisis possible, knew this & the fixture list was bad well before the window & now 28 days in there’s zero outfield signings when it’s only got worse.
@lewisunderwood5248Күн бұрын
@@JCGaming13 Why dont you check your facts before blurting out such uninformed stuff. The club has a debt last i saw was £677.4 mill in 2023. It is probably one of the richest clubs in the world because its value is approx £4 bill ( if sold ). thats where the valuation comes from. 16 managers over 24 years ? well check your facts again because 6 of them were interim - covering until a new manager was found. = mason x 2 - pleat - allen - stellini & sherwood. I think sherwood was given a chance but he was just a rookie manager. So & anyway thanks for telling me levy is responsible for all the injuries ! i will do my best to forget that because i believe we have a shocking manager who trains and selects the teams per match and apparently levy is responsible for all his shortcomings. Man get real ! levy cant even sack him because he walks away with £12 mill for rubbish results.

Great to see the media all over this now FINALLY. This really helps as the sponsors will hate this and will help put on the pressure. But there's only one way to facilitate change, hit Levy and ENIC where it hurts them the most...in the hip pocket. Boycott a game, maybe more, and gather outside on gameday.Generate media attention. Not a great thing for the 11 representing us on the pitch, but surely they'll understand the reasoning. It can't be half assed like last time where bugger all people supported it, we need the majority of Spurs fans onboard. Stop buying merch, stop spending money on food/drinks at the ivory castle. How badly do we, AS A WHOLE, want change? Time to put up or shut up Spurs fans.

It ain’t the board it’s Ange, he keeps attacking regardless of injuries. I’ve never seen a manager do it. He doesn’t earn his money, he has 1 idea and he sticks to it. Levy is the biggest problem. We had poch,jose,conte and now ange,none have been backed by levy. We buy kids or second rate cheap option players,pay low wages and then expect a manager to compete with teams who constantly buy quality and pay top wages to attract those top players. Any players we had that were quality were sold for massive profit,the money was never reinvested in making the squad stronger. So no matter who is manager is doomed to fail under levy and enic
@lewisunderwood5248Күн бұрын
As i remember every quality player we have had over the years have forced levy,s hand to move them on. berbatov - carrick - modric - bale - kane all wanted to leave so levy got the best price he could for them. - What more could he do ? The scattergun buying after selling bale produced 2 good players in eriksen and the injury prone lamela. Eriksen at one stage was valued at £80 - £100 mill but wouldnt sign a new contract which gazumped levy into having to take a well below valuation offer in the end. eriksen alone could have rescued the bale money but he wasnt having any of it and would have run down his contract and gone for nothing - we were lucky a winter window offer came in and the player left.

@lewisunderwood5248 25 years of failure under levy says it all. Sooner better some of our fan base realise that and stop defending the indefensible. He cares nothing for onfield success and less for the fans. Its always profit before glory with him

@@johnmccrea7094 The clubs overall debt as of june 2023 was £677.4mill. - in 2024 levy announced a club loss of £88 mill approx from the previous season. Not sure where all this profit you are claiming he is making is coming from ! The fact levy is looking for outside investment says it all. Many forget the covid period when the club also recorded a loss . Summer windows since 2021/22 tottenham have spent over £700 mill on transfers ( 4th in a list of prem clubs ) ( also 4th in the same list = net spends) I do blame levy for bad choices on managers apart from pochettino and conte - the rest were average including ange who is out of his depth. I would also blame levy on not getting a deal done to sign kvaratskhelia a few years back ! also he had a chance to buy gyokeres but i dont want to go into the realms of hindsight. Ange also would have had to given his approval of the buying of youth last summer instead of established players like solanke.

We are the fourth richest team on the planet ,yet we are in the shit because of never backing any of those managers

So whats that old saying? "If you go into a room and everyones an ass hole, then you go to the next room and everyones an ass hole, then you go to a 3rd room and everyones an ass hole... its probably not them, its you". That in mind, Levy has some inward thinking to do before sacking Ange. I personally like Ange and I think to judge ANY manager with the injury situation the way it is would be ridiculous. There are pieces he can shuffle around but thats really not going to make much difference... we need our players back in a bad way. If this was our team at full strength, Id be all aboard the Ange Out train but thats not the answer and Ange is a breath of fresh air compared to the last 3 managers we've had.

Spurs fans were shouting levy out Ange out when we were fifth in the league this season and in all competitions. Soon after half the squad got injured and the constant abuse and toxicity of the fans have killed this season. Which player in their right mind can expect to perform with the barrage of abuse hailed at them. Only then we started dropping points and hurling down the table. It's a nightmare especially when considering these are young boys put in the team sheet to fill in for injured players. The blood lays on this terrible fan base as well as Ange and levy. God knows how well they could have performed if they had a good environment to play in. Won't be surprised if our top players leave. No suprise son played well in Hoffenheim when the spurs fans were a minority and his shhh celebration says a lot. A lot of this is psychological. Imagine waking up every day going to the office yourself knowing your going to be belted by 60 odd thousand people in the office shouting abuse at you. And your expected to perform at the highest level and meet your targets. I dont expect the fans to be happy but they have to wake up and realise there actions have consequences.
@BurntToast85112 күн бұрын
I dont fully agree, whilst the players arent robots, they are a lot more resilient and focused then youre giving them credit for. They learn how to be professional and how to play through distraction. Some will be mildly affected and others will not be. They will be focused on things that matter, family, income, personal performance levels, contracts, and overall success.

One thing for sure is that we are going down with ange if levy doesnt act quickly. He is not good enough for the prem. It doesnt matter how many players levy gets for him it isnt working with ange in charge . He hasnt a clue about protecting a lead or just seeing a game out 1-0 . But levy has given spurs fans what they wanted after mourinho and conte - a manager who plays gung ho suicidal football ¬! but it comes at a cost and thats the clubs prem status. ...............! another thing which is a load of tosh is the counting of all the managers over the years - that list includes clive allen , ryan mason x 2 , stellini, pleat, and even sherwood was temporary being a rookie manager - thats 6 you can remove from the list because they were all in caretaker roles. We should have pandered to the whims of conte ! very unstable character but a winner. He went because he was sick of the players not wanting to come out from their comfort zone and most of them have been moved on .

Mistakes have been made sacking managers too quickly and currently getting a manager who isn’t up to the job. Better transfers are needed Ange said he signed off on all transfers, he got £400m. This is why Spurs are considered a joke and bantered, too many bad loser, spoiled fans who always try to blame someone, it’s like nerds whinging that they should be winning. Moaning about Levy getting rid of managers too frequently. He finally listens, takes on a project, buys the players the manager asked for, including the younger players because they are part of the project. He has stuck with Ange despite the poor performances for the project. It is either time to stop the project or stick with it and hope the youngsters come through and maybe it works. Levy doesn’t want Ange to spend money on this period and especially get stuck with a high wages player. Team isn’t going down and maybe Levy wants to stick with the situation until summer and review.
