@@joec.p.6381 this is the "solo" part, quite more complex to explain. You have to mute a lot of strings, and play the right bass note + melody only. This precise position is "XX075X" then "XX077X" with hammer on. It would be easier to play with a real open Dsus2 and D position.

I can't believe I am seeing this for the first time! Amazing cover, strumming is fantastic! My wife and I walked into our wedding reception to this song 13 years ago. Mainly quick downstrokes with some stresses here and there, and some sixteenth notes down-ups to make it less boring (every time you hit a new chords, almost) Trust your ears if you can, and watch my right hand moving... :)

In the "for the last time" part he is playing a G which transitions up to a B minor, from 3rd fret position up to 7th fret position. So in lyrics its: (G) And for the (Bm) first time (Dsus2) I feel as though (Asus2) I am reborn. The B minor looks like X997XX or X9X79X or 09X7XX, but can't tell what he is muting. Either way sounds similar to me.
