Great art design, the aesthetics are pretty cool with such a classy soundtrack. It fits perfectly the atmosphere. Gameplay looks quite fun and challenging at the same time. 👍

Gotta love the gleeful dissonance of the BGM being like the chillest ambient track that plays in some FRPG when you walk around some sleepy peaceful village while on screen Gigerian abominations blast each other to pieces 😈

This looks like a more grotesque version of the game NeverAwake. With a little feel of Contra to it

NeverAwake is horizontal shoot 'em up, though, whereas Angel at Dusk is vertical shoot 'em up.

They get this art style so much more "right" in Galshell. I don't know why they let that series languish and turn around and make knock offs to sell commercially.

While I like the artistry, it's so visually unclear and cluttered that I couldn't stand playing this.
