Angel of Pain 32 (8b+/5.14a)

A 2007 ascent of this classic test piece at Castle Hill, New Zealand.
Put up by Swiss master Eric Talmadge in 1991, this Castle Hill test piece is a five star route and one of a kind. All natural holds - including four monos leads to a desperate mantle that few people have been able to complete. To this date the climb has had one further ascent (Wiz - making 3 ascents total).

Two mono clips AND two mono to mono moves? Plus a crazy slopey mantle? Man that's a sick climb even if it's really short. Not to mention that's the craziest looking limestone I've ever seen the way it's sculpted. It looks more like the kind of features you would see on desert sandstone (like The Wave in Arizona).
