Angel Reese's mistake with the hand gestures was that she singled out one person, Caitlin Clark, and followed her around the field to get in her face. Clark ignored her. Many people consider getting up in someone's face and gloating is breaking a cardinal rule of good sportsmanship. In the NBA, a lot of trash talking goes on even after a game even in the playoffs, but usually only when there are still games to be played and there are opportunities to torch someone by scoring a lot of points and thereby getting revenge, as Steph Curry does. Many people including NBA players and sports media believe race had a lot to do with the backlash Reese got. Maybe it did; it didn't with me. However, picking on someone who is "beloved" by millions of people was a bad idea and Reese should have known better. Stephen A Smith , a well-known ESPN sports analyst, told Reese she knew fans would be coming after her if she did the hand gestures. Reese never disagreed. I have seen fights start when someone did to a player what Reese did. Clark did the YOU CAN'T SEE ME hand gesture in the Louisville game but she did that to the entire Louisville team because they were trash talking her, Clark didn't single out anyone. Clark told one Louisville player to shut up you're 15 points behind because the player's trash talking was over the top. Reese gloats when she wins and whines when she loses and then makes up BS and cries to take focus off her losing and get sympathy. Reese claims she is a beautiful woman, however, I believe she has a so-unlikable personality that she has a long way to go before I'd say she is beautiful; and she is a racist. A'ja Wilson has a similar personality and is most certainly a racist.

wnba is bigger than ever right now because of fan sentiments, the wnba will screw it up for themselves here soon though. Clark put a ceiling on her fame as soon as she signed with the league.

@@nsh1980 a contract with literally any other entertainment or media outlet. She'd have a better career path doing the weather and traffic on the local Indy CBS affiliate than playing basketball there. Like Arron Rodgers still playing football, doesn't make sense, give it up and just act in tv.
