The reason why people are suddenly interested in woman's basketball is because of the Angel Reese and Catlin Clark thing. I'm pretty sure that the games these two ladies play are the games that people watch most. White people are rooting for Clark and black people are rooting for Reese. It might sound bad but it's the truth. It was the best thing for the WNBA and now people want to see who is going to do better. The only thing that I can't understand is why there is so much hatred towards the two women. It just seems like no one wants them to succeed. Reese, on the other hand, is a Forward, who usually only get the ball in their hands off of rebounds or designed plays (e.g., pick and rolls, traps, etc.). You'd be hard pressed to find a starting PG in either the WNBA, NBA, or NCAA who averages fewer turnovers per game than a starting Forward. Edit: regarding the 15-20 PPG that the Fever give up off of turnovers, 1. Those aren't exclusively coming from Clark's turnovers 2. The Fever suck at transition defense. It's not just one player's responsibility to get down court and stop the fast break after a turnover, it's the entire team's.
