Angel Reese Tells WNBA to stop Favouring Caitlin Clark

Angel Reese, The Chicago Sky rookie has called on the WNBA to stop giving preference to Indiana Fever Star Caitlin Clark and instead give all players and teams equal coverage and attention. This comes at a time the WNBA and women basketball is receiving too much attention courtesy of the 2024 Draft class. Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever have received so much media attention even if they haven't won all their five WNBA matches.

CC is on a sorry team with a stubborn hard-headed coach. She's been in the same situation at Iowa but back then, her coach let her take control and built the offense around CC. That's why they won so many games. CC had the room she needed to bail the team out when the situation called for it. Her Iowa teammates knew to give her the ball plus the screens she needed. They did what was best for the team's victory, which is GIVE CC THE BALL!!!!!!!!! It's no different than players on the Bulls knowing that the ball needed to be in Jordan's hands most of the time if they wanted to win. But the Indiana Fever do the opposite. Instead of running the offense through CC and adjusting to her, they're trying to force her to fit into their tried and failed system. The highest levels of WNBA leadership may want CC to elevate their league, but everybody else in or around the WNBA badly wants her to fail. Everyone from her teammates, her coach, other WNBA players, other WNBA coaches, WNBA legends, and even the refs are working overtime towards her downfall. Pay attention to her games and you will see alot of suspect coincidences working against her. They (her fellow WNBA players in particular) hate the kind of shine and attention she is getting. None of them ever got anywhere near that kind of love from the league, shoe companies, and brands. Envy at its finest.

The WNBA did no favors for the Fever with the schedule. The ladies are playing 7 games in 12 days, 2 home and 5 away games, with 5 of the 7 games against year's top 3 team. It's tough to improve when you don't have practice time. No college or high school coach/athletic director would put together a schedule this bad. They are at a hug disadvantage when compared to the rest of the league, especially with a young team that has not played together. There has been no time for rest. The Chicago Sky did go in and upset the New York Liberty, but it was only the Sky's third game of the season, and it was on 4 days of rest. Caitlin and the Fever need to rest a few days.

Does Angel and her crew think they are better than those standout woman from the past. Some are still playing. LSU had a a National Championship 2 years ago. About a week later was anyone talking about her or the game. The current Champions went undefeated. How long has attention lasted. Let's see who has brought attention to Womans College Ball and now the WNBA. The proof is over whelming, it has been Catlin Clark. If those WNBA stars and Sport show talking heads think that is not the case........well, I will leave it at that. To go any further would require a few not so kind adjectives.
