well that was the part of the story that stood out for me. I haven't read the manga btw but the anime focusses on the love between Setsuna & Sara you can't deny that. I know the Angel Alexiel is inside Setsuna it is she who is in love with Sara or something... I dunno cause I haven't read the manga.. anyways.. the anime starts AND ends focusing on Setsuna's love for his sister.. as far as I remember there is not much more going on then that except there was also that creepy Rosiel

Angel Sanctuary. There's a 20 volume series of manga that goes with. Excellent stuff, (and my personal favourite.) There's only one volume of the anime, sadly.

They only made an OVA it was made in a time when most mangas where just made into OVAs or mini series, its a real shame! Have always love this story. :(

And with a question asked for the angels which they could not answer which adam could it was proven. So the angels obeyed and bowed infront of Adam. Note that the angels question was not defiency they are so pure that they dont know anything else thus could not underestand the meaning with it, they merely asked the question out of unknowing.

Almondavid, It depends on which religion you refere to I'm intressted in the whole angel stuff so Ive done some research to see what diff. relig. say. In christianity the angels basically can fall down(go bad) because of their free will(Lucifer). But in islam it states that lucifer(iblis) was created by fire while humans created by soil and angels created by light. Lucifer who would not accept adam because he thought he was superior he who was created by fire while man was created by soil.

Almondavid, so the angels have no free will they accepted adam and bowed in front of him but lucifer who had free will because he was not an angel but a jinn(another creation according to islam with free will) revoulted so he got descended(fallen) from the heaven. While the angels asked God why create something that could do evil while we glory and praise your name, God said I know what you dont know surely I am the creater of all.

I thought the anime was nice and it had some meaning and it related with christianity and the flaws with it when "when angels deserves to die" and flaws with it but they fucked the whole thing up with incest. Whats next a two persons who was lover in some other life but now in this life they are father and doughter, so that makes it ok. The dude who created this promissing anime thought he could add some wierd shit to stand out. And the way I see it it attracts people with fucked up mentality.
