The idea of charging the doctor for a missed appointment was ahead of its time, but has been used by attorneys to bill doctors when the doctors overbooked and infringed on the attorney's time... Loved the actress!

I love that, charging the dentist-- it's true they overbook to cover themselves and everyone knows how poor dentists have a hard time making ends meet-- especially when they marry other dentists, poor things. My last dentist and her husband drove matching Porsches while half the world can't afford dental care.

I had seen this series (well, a few episodes anyway) years before, and while Jess Oppenheimer also created I Love Lucy, Angel is so much cleverer and cuter. Ms Farge was a gem.

@teendude16 It didn't make it for two reasons. First, it was on opposite two very popular shows, "My Three Sons" and "Bachelor Father." Second, although all the TV critics loved it and it did well on the two coasts, people in the Midwest complained that they couldn't understand Annie's English because of her strong French accent. - Gregg Oppenheimer

Never heard of the show before ... Angel is adorable. And if folks had no problem understanding Desi's accent they certainly shouldn't have had a problem understanding hers. Thanks much for the upload!

Incidentally, this is a summer repeat (probably aired that August), as "THE SPIKE JONES SHOW" [29:10] was General Foods' 1961 summer replacement for "THE DANNY THOMAS SHOW".

Well Angel you walked up and walked down as you were nervous i can understand even me at the age of 35 yrs 10 months 2 days and 22 hrs 21 mins i am still afraid of dentists i go for a cleanup but they provoke me for filling or sometimes tooth removal in case of pain i dont like them and scared of them as they use an injection and start treatment i feel scare as i can see everything in mirror on my head
