This is why I refuse to marry a guy with kids. I don't want baggage like this. I have kids and there are days I feel like sending them to the jungle for survival so they know to appreciate us so I don't want to deal with other people's baggage.

The best thing you could do for yourself is continue your education and learn the legal system. That way you will be in a better situation and no one can take advantage of you. There's no reason for these brats to hate their dad's new wife. Their parents were divorced for 10 years b4 she married their dad. If they are mad be mad at their mom and dad. It takes both sides to build a relationship which teir father did by taking them back...paid for their brides, paid for their housing..he took on his responsibility as a father. Couples get divorce everyday, you don't like the step parent get out. If you were good kids I'm sure your father would have left you an inheritance you wouldn't have to steal and go to court. So glad the step mom found new love.

Even an inmate getting the Death Penalty still get treated with respect and have laws to protect him respected by the Justice System. It's a parents duty to care for their children before they become of age. It's a spouse's responsibility to care for each other until death. This father cared for his children to the best of his ability already. Paying child support to the mom and paying the dowry for their wives. . They are all grown now. Anything that was fought for no matter the intention, is not out of love. There is no inheritance that should be fought for from a parent. No one should be fighting for their dead parents property/money just because you are their kids. You get whatever your parent left to you and if there is nothing then there is nothing.

Also, Hmong people need to stop thinking that they will get rich from life insurance. Life insurance is to cover any debit the deceased person may have, funeral arrangements, and/or to cover any living children under the age of 18. Any grown a** children can buy their own insurance and pay for it if they want life insurance pay out.

I understand there are three sides to a story, her's, the kids, and the truth but did the kids have to be that evil? Even if the new mom was evil, just ignore her and go live on your own, the kids are over 18 years old. Why did they have to throw her clothes away, call the cops on her, try to sue her for money, and change the truck to their name? So what if the father left the house and all of his money to his new wife. SHE IS HIS WIFE.! It doesn't matter if she was using him or if it was true love between them. If that's what he wants to do with his money then let it be. It's like their father demanding that the kids sign over their life insurance and all their assets to him because he is the father and not sign it to their spouse...LOL. No one is telling them what to do with their money.! Yah, it hurts the father did not save any for them but that was his choice. The kids would have been okay with it if the father signed everything over to his exwife if they were still married, so why can't it be the same...LOL.

I feel sorry for this lady, I'm glad she found love after her husband's death. Listen carefully guys. When his kids turned 18, they all came back to live with him. That means he's a better parent than their mom. Next, those kids are 18+ when she came to marry their dad. They don't have to be mature but they didn't have to be cruel. Throwing clothes away, throwing her mom's hmong clothes from laos away, switching the dad's truck when he passed, trying to piss her off by taking her kids and ignoring her phone calls, these are done out of cruelty. Their dad wasn't mean to them cause if he was, they wouldn't come back to live with him. Their whiny immature asses just can't handle their dad moving on. Period. And I'm sure that if she was evil to them, what they did to her because she doesn't know English, karma will come back to them in another form one day.

I am probably gonna get alot of hate but here goes! I don't know the whole story so I can't speak for the older kids. It could be true that the dad was treated unfairly by the x-wife thats why they divorced. Or it could be he cheated on her. IDK. My point is all these kids from the 1st wife are over 18 and he is no longer married to the 1st wife therefore the dad can chose to do whatever he wants with his money, house, and life insurance policy. Life insurance has some of the most difficult laws that protect the beneficiaries so its really a waste of time to sue. With that said, since she had so much money it wasn't necessary to ask or have the other kids help with the funeral if they already said so or dispise the dad/new wife so much.

Did you listen to the entire story? The step mom ended up paying for the funeral herself found at video timestamp 41:41. The children sued her for the life insurance money he took out for her and the house. When that didn't work, they forced her to give each child $5,000 by going through the relatives.

Unfortunately, this is the true reality. When you live in a capitalist country, it's all about money. This doesn't just happened to those who are here through international marriage. It happens between siblings, step parents and step kids, and even between spouses. Even blood children do this to their parents. You have to understand also that these children probably have trauma and their dad should have spent more time with them to build that connection with them instead of investing time on a new wife and expecting that wife to play his part. Bingo!!! Judging from the comments though, a lot of hmong ppl don't believe in psychology. All the negativity those kids saw throughout their whole lives traumatized them. The dumb father, instead of getting help for his kids, was more inclined on finding a p for his d's needs. Hmong dudes got their priorities all effed up. Their d is their #1 priority.

What had happened between their parents.. is between them.. yes it hurts, yes you never want your parents to separate, and yes you wish the other parent did more for the other parent but it is what it is. What if the dad knows now and is doing so to keep the new mom happy. I swear people cant take change. People cant get over their trauma that life goes on- you either get up and show up for yourself or take it upon people who have nothing to do with your trauma. @@FrenzyXG As a kid who experienced divorced parents and a new stepmother who is a mos ab, I agree with you. It does hurt that our parents aren't together anymore. My mother was very hurt and bitter. And she encouraged us to dislike the stepmom. But those are adult issues. The only thing we can do is continue to love our mom & respect our new stepmom, weird as it might be that she's ages younger than us. If these kids' mom encouraged them to hate the stepmom,xshe just further traumatized those kids and didn't do them any favors.

Yes, I feel sorry for them but what they did wasn’t right either. They placed their anger at the wrong person. The second wife said she married him after he was already divorced for some years so it was not like she broke up the marriage. Whatever problems he had with the first wife we don’t know. The second wife deserve whatever money he left for her because they are legally married and had kids together. The step-kids have no right to that money. If he wanted his kids to have the money he would have done it already before he died. I know that sucks for the kids but it’s not their money.
