One of the reasons #makebawilliams wanted to attend #spelmancollege Commencement 2024 because she wanted to go back home.
Beyonce, Knowles-Carter, once said, one of her favorite places is Parkwood, which is a park located in Houston, Texas, and a contribution to Ivy Park brand.
So, #beyonce would go back to Parkwood to remember, recharge and refuel.
#makebawilliams needed to remember, recharge and refuel, and that special place and contribution was/is Spelman College.
Divine timing is everything. #makebawilliams believes, there are no accidents nor coincidence.
Having the honor to hear the iconic #angelbassett speak at Spelman College Commencement 2024, was by divine.
#makebawilliams needed to hear, some beautiful, powerful, meaningful and encouraging words that was once spoken during her Spelman College Commencement (2010), heart.
In life, we have vision and drive, but sometimes, it may be delayed but not denied.
During the delayed gratification period, #makebawilliams continues to pivot, ascend, quantum leap, and think higher. Yes, she believes higher is waiting for all of us.
However, there this thing called, reinforcement. Meaning, to have another person speak to your spirit and soul, with just some humble words, can and will make a difference.
The truth is, #makebawilliams attending Spelman College Commencement 2024, was more than just a graduation remarkable memory, it was a moment of healing.
#makebawilliams believes its essential to put yourself in places that you can connect positively.
