I love this video, I love her spirit, how she continues the tradition and her attitude towards art and life and how she expresses them both through woven yarn

Hi Valerie I used a wool yarn that is used for luxury carpet making. There are also some linen threads in there too ❤️

@@angelaforte9688 oh wow. Thank you so much for explaining. Can I ask where you find them? And what is your opinion on Array Yarn. I am thinking of using it but, its kind of fuzzy.
@angelaforte9688 Жыл бұрын
@@valerieduchesneau5167 I’m not familiar with the Array yarns. I’m living in Ireland and we don’t have that brand here. I have a carpet factory close to me and they allow me to buy waste yarns from their warehouse. The yarns are not on general sale. Sorry I can’t be of more help. Best of luck with your weaving.

@@angelaforte9688 oh wow, Ireland...oh thats amazing you can buy from a factory close by. Thank you so much for responding . I love your work. I am in corpus Christi, Texas, but I was born in France. I am new at weaving; I just started being curious about all of it. Have a great day.😃

@@valerieduchesneau5167 You can order very fine worsted wools from Weavers Bazaar in the UK. I know they ship to the US. I hope you have a great day too.

Ah, Wonderful! I've been a handweaver since the 1980's. I am an older woman, I have 4 Floor Looms of varying sizes and multiple harness's. I weave on an Inkle Loom, a Backstrap, but have never woven tapestries, and have an overwhelming desire to do so. I've been looking into Tapestry Looms, which one to begin with, and too many other ideas in getting organized. Thank you so much for sharing your passion in fiber, and all the lovely things it can do. Rebecca
