@@Rudi-c7v Long long time ago when I was in my early teens. One of my grand uncle told me whatever I do in life. I have to treat it as fun and game. Only then I would enjoy my work and only then good things will come out of it. If I don't like or worse, hate my work. Nothing good will be the result. Funny, I don't know. But I only see having fun with my work. Having fun means something making fun of myself. Keep my mental heath in shape.

It's funny and I didn't expect such a reliable amplifier maker. With hat and tuxedo

@@Rudi-c7v Hat yes, almost always. But never once wear a tuxedo in my life. Wait, I do have a T-shirt with tuxedo print on it. Don't know if that count. 😆😁😄 Life is too short, we have to have fun. Nothing wrong to laugh about ourselves once in a while. Good for our mental health. I do totally understand, funny isn't a personality commonly mix or associate with audio amplifier designer and maker. Talking about funny. Have you notice my pocket square? It's a custom made Hello Kitty pocket square. Either way, I took your first comment as compliment and I posted on my FB profile for other to enjoy.

I have to tell you this. Even though I’ve watched this particular video numerous times, my wife just came by and watched about fifteen seconds of it for the first time. (Probably my fifth or sixth…)Her quote; “Umm…looking at this, it just looks like a big mess…” I had to laugh because you just made the “snake pit” comment a few minutes ago in the video. 😆…of course I spent about ten seconds pointing out that it wasn’t. Then she walked away. 🤣

@@angela-gilbert but even with expensive brand amps oftentimes the soundstage is lacking with the standard black cord power cable
@angela-gilbert3 ай бұрын
@@MasterofPlay7 No argument there. The standard black cords are not so good because of the crimp joints on both end. They are not solder. In general rule of thumb, I have an open mind up to USD750 for power cords, USD1,500 for an 10ft pair of speaker cable. USD500 for pair of 1 meter interconnects. Anything above those numbers, I have better ways to spend my money even if the more expensive wire are better. It is also why I am making my own wire.

to feed loudspeakers with 109 db , don`t you think that 80 W it´s to much? That solution wouldn´t be more logical with a less power amplifiier? But, congratulations for the principles and build quality of your devices !!!
@angela-gilbert3 ай бұрын
The customer want and amp which can drive his Maggie and also his 107db horn speaker. My goal was to build an amp which is very quiet but still capable to delivery current when require. After that said, I agree 80watt into 109db is rather unnecessary. I would much prefer nice 25 watt. May be less with tube.
