Being a black male who was mostly raised in and around Seattle, I know better than to believe chicks like this...Particularly the ones from Seattle. They'll be the first to be talking that "natural this, pro-black that" but date nothing but white men, parade their swirly white babies around their majority white neighborhood, and don't actually DO anything to help the issues they complain about. Her viewpoints are her job, hardly her lifestyle. Glad I moved to Oakland and met some real brothers and sisters who get ACTIVE about bettering our situation in America. Haven't we SAID enough?
@jay-33866 жыл бұрын
Moe Fax Her political views and who she dates have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Just because you’ve been rejected by countless black women mean absolutely nothing. Go to an HBCU and law school, become an attorney, get a 6 figure job, then proceed to talk on Ms. Rye.

I admire her for her black advocacy, and she's a beautiful woman. I just find it annoying how she decries Trump for his idiocy, yet turns a blind eye to Hilary's corrupt track record. Black people have been deluded into thinking that Hilary was the less of two evils.

Qahir Makhani Let's see: Stealing millions of dollars from Haiti's relief fund to benefit her campaign, supporting Bill's policies that led to mass incarceration, all while referring to black people as "superpredators", the whole thing with the emails, flip-flopping on social issues and then lying about it. Need I continue?
@ChrisH1247 жыл бұрын
You have no proof. Furthermore, she never called black people predators. She was comparing the Italian Mafia to the inner city gangs (Crips and Bloods) who were murdering innocent black people. She likened them ALL to super predators, the mafia and the gangs. She never, ever, EVER said that black people were super predators. You would know that if you read an article that contained factual information. In fact, Hillary was defending those families that were not being defended by their own people (the gangs).
@cget7 жыл бұрын
Kent State Politico Have no proof of what? Books were written and documentaries were made about her Haiti scandal. I live in Miami, and she actually made a surprise visit to Little Haiti last year to save face. She knows exactly what she's doing. The mass incarceration thing is undeniable, she even admitted it was a mistake. Everyone knows about the emails and the social issues. Stop lying. And about the superpredators, you have to understand that black people were and still are the main targets of mass incarceration. They've been all painted with the same brush in the media during that time, so it was already known who was being talked about.

@KBlocker297 жыл бұрын
Whitney I don't think she wants people to be scared. I think some just are. I think Trump being elected was the best choice because he now has to try and prove he's not exactly what most of us know him to be, and people can stop being blind to the fact that this country and the people running it don't care about them. Once you know where to start from you can build from there.

ChilledLion. What was he supposed to do? Get us reparations? Build us houses? Get us our fourty acres and a mule? He was the president of all people not just us. Plus the Republican establishment would have eaten him alive had he tried anything of the sort. What he did for me was made it possible to tell my kids that a black man was in charge when the economy recovered the greatest economic collapse since the Great Depression. (When their old enough to understand that). That alone is a incredible feet. That yeah they have to work harder as he had to but look where it can get you. I'm optimistic that after he's out of office he will pull a Jimmy Carter. Only time will tell.

Not really homie. I bet you actually Googled it; and people who read it. The info is there. However the main cop out was your question. Which you could've answered yourself pimpin.
@jusadude1867 жыл бұрын
ChilledLion. That's a selfish way to look at it. This was a president of inclusion to a fault even. He tried to work with people who had no intention of doing so. I get sick and tried of people asking what did he did for Black and Brown people. He had to whole of America to think about. How many business scandals besides Bernie Madoff and the usual pyramid schemes that if you don't know about them yourself by now you deserve to get fucked over happened in his administration? How many countries did he send men and women to die? How often did he fight for wage increases? Equal pay for women? If he would have come into office during a recession and said " Hold on. I know you all are hurting but I'm dealing with the black and brown people first" they would have tried to impeach him more than they were already planning to try to. You and Tavis Smiley can have that argument. I'm not. Obama was a Warrior his whole presidency. He had to be. He even had black folks like you fighting against him.

It fits their anti Trump narrative. Breakfast Club shills for Hillary/Democrats

Just Like Alex jones, or Fox News Caters towards Trump/Republicans. And the end of the day if you really think That Elite Democrats or Republicans care about the regular people you truly are the idiot. If you don't like breakfast clubs narrative just stop watching and support a channel that does.

I absolutely adore her! I've been watching her CNN commentary for a while now and she's so representative of myself and the women that I know. Thank you Angela Rye! I must thank the breakfast club for "amplifying her platform!"

I could listen to Angela Rye all day. May not agree with everything she says but can definitely appreciate her point of view.

this was a great interview. Thank you for not interrupting her like you typically do to your black female guests.
