I really like Amanda but i didn't understand her frustrations with Angela here. She was arguing a point that Angela didn't even make. Angela Clealy stated "ELECTED OFFICIALS". Amanda must be feeling guilty about something.

Dede Elliott She (Amanda) is programmed to defend her political choice and since that group is being charged with the creation of #Trump in America - she knows the man is a Manchurian candidate but doesn’t want to accept the fact that by allowing him to be born she and her group are the problem because they won’t do anything to stop the man. And as for that guy trying to #Deflect that @Obama is the cause of racial tensions? He did nothing more than uncover what’s been hidden (racism), just like how after the confederates LOST THE CIVIL WAR - over the years they managed to erect monuments and stairs of those who committed TREASON AGAINST THE INITED STATES and once the confederate flags and statues were uncovered - racism rose it’s head to the world, because it (racism) could no longer HIDE in plain sight. So the notion that @Obama is to blame for the rise in racial relations is preposterous. All he did, was uncover what was hidden all these years, in plain sight. And because it’s exposed - people are mad and running around like roaches in the kitchen when the lights come on - because we know it’s been there but it has no where to hide anymore. I order to move forward, we have to 1st admit that it (racism) of white america - is here and uncovered.

Angela, these commentators and many of others that come on CNN say things aren’t racist or deny they have any sort of privilege. Would you be able to ask them to define racism (and correct them when they say it’s hating someone because of the color of their skin because that’s overly simplistic and is not the definition. Please have the definitions of discrimination and prejudice on hand) and then ask them in 2018 what would be racism....would you be able to also point out that Amanda/Scott that just because they aren’t overtly racist (especially when it comes to Republican policies) doesn’t mean they can’t be “diet racists”. All forms of racism are toxic. And can we explain that these diet racists are emboldening overt racists, which is why we have PC culture. You don’t have to be a white supremacist to benefit from white supremacy, and when they disassociate themselves from overt white supremacy they pretend like the dog whistles they use don’t exist further perpetuating white supremacy. Also can we also make sure to clap back and remind them the Civil Rights Act was passed in the 60s. And remind them of the election cycles since then while inserting voter ID laws AND gerrymandering. What has absolutely shocked me has been the reaction of the Bush family. I never, in a million years, thought I would miss George W. Bush, but other than his wars, his horrible response to Katrina and his failures to address more problems affecting the poor, he was a good president. He did do some great things during his presidency, and I can see that, now. His choices for the bench, his efforts in Africa, and some other policy decisions were good.
