I suffered a TBI concussion 1 1/2 years ago. I continue to suffer from horrible migraines, dizziness, nausea, light and sound sensitivity, cognitive problems and so much more. I am happy for your success, Angela. I hope one day I will feel better, too, and have relief from these disabling symptoms. The dream of putting on heels once again would be oh-so nice.

I specifically asked 2 neurologist if there was eye exercises, PT to help with what is now permanent post concussion syndrome. I was immediately told, "No, you have to deal with it." Movement of my head triggers hemiplegic migraines. I wear a neck brace on/off throughout the day to get relief. I use crutches to keep me stabilized. Nov 2015 was the brain injury date. It's now Nov 2023. I have 4 Neuro Stim Router Implants to control the hemiplegic migraines but still dealing with concussion syndromes.

Thank you for sharing your story. It made me not feel so alone. I went through the same thing and almost four years later I am still not back to normal. I hope you are feeling better! You give hope to others. That concussion centre sounds amazing! They need to have them everywhere.
