Girl you can't even do a bad eyeshadow look. In the thumbnail the "don't" side looks just as good as the "do" side. It's just different.

Yes! Mattes are best for the crease. I personally hate shimmers in my crease. Thanks for showing everything! The messups, how you fixed it...all of it! I enjoy the right eye style on you instead of the other that you followed. Hope you have a blessed one.

I had been thinking of getting this palette but after this video and seeing it’s limitations, nah, I think not. I didn’t grab it in 2012 as that was the year we moved back to the states, later in the year and my mom had passed away. Speaking of… hug your Roogala tight for me because our dog took suddenly ill on Monday night and passed about 13 hours later. My husband and I are numb and mostly devastated.

I will hand it to you for hanging in there. Both eyes look great. I don't believe you could create a bad look. But I do understand that the more newer eyeshadow palettes like Icy Nude and Makeup by Mario are more advanced formulas so going back to shadows that under perform is to be expected. I feel like this is every day of my life struggle bc my textured lids 😂 Shadow sits in the crepey lines looking patchy but when I try to blend out, the shadow turns muddy 🤦🏻‍♀️ Do keep the corrections coming!

Could some of the issues be due to the age of the palette? I have some 'older' palettes that I'm just not willing to toss out yet.
