You are living in Red Zone of Karachi. Governor House, Chief Minister House and Comisioner Karachi are also situated near PC. You can also visit Frere Hall and some Heritage building in front of Hotel Metropole.

@@AngelaCarson No, noooo! It was so complimentary that my husband started hoping it was some new hotel we could try out! Didn't know about the outdoor eating space they've set up for Covid days, btw. The weather's perfect nowadays to go there for a meal. Thank you for the recommendation!

Karachi is where I grew up. As a kid we would often frequent PC for parties, they had a cool disco called "Nasreen Room". During those days it was called "Intercontinental Hotel". I guess the ownership got changed and they called in Pearl Continental. Across the road is Sheraton hotel that used to host a marathon called "Sherathon". Good times growing up in that area. Do check out Clifton, Frere Hall, Jinnah's Masoleum, and French Beach.

Bad throat 'well you are in Pakistan. I would strongly suggest a " Joshanda" there are different types but try qarshi Joshanda in a cup of hot water. You will see the difference.
