Thank you for visiting and highlighting my City, Angela. And you are so right about the Hanna Lake, it was built by the British during colonial times unfortunately it has not been properly maintained. The Dam (Wali Tangi Dam) is surrounded by juniper trees on the mountains it is actually quite beautiful place to visit. Also, most people you encountered in the market and elsewhere are not used to seeing foreign tourists hence the weird reactions. I remember when I was little, foreign tourists visiting Quetta was very common before 2000. The tour guide should have taken you to the Hazarganji National Park. It is a wildlife protection Park reserved for Markhors in the mountains. Leopards have also been spotted recently in the Park. Kind Regards from Quetta

It continues to amaze me of how stunningly beautiful the Mosks are as well as simplistic in their style and color. My heart went pitty pat Loved the market. Good Job.

Amazing! I'm so glad u went to Jabal-e-noor. In the last monsoon season (Aug 2020) our basement got completely flooded till the ceiling. Around 20 to 30 qurans and Islamic books got destroyed. I went all over the city (karachi) looking for someone who would take them and destroy them the proper way. This is when I found out about them and their wonderful service. Was thankful to send all the copies to them through another charity.

Quetta is the fruit garden of Pakistan, apart from Baloch and Balochi culture, you will see all the cultures of Pakistan right in Quetta or should I say all Pakistan's ethnicities can be found here. No matter its Punjabi Sindhi Siraiki or Pashto, even a huge population of Afghan refugees can be seen who migrated to Balochistan in the 1970s during the Soviet war in Afghanistan and the second biggest migration happened here after 9/11. almost half of Afghanistan took refuge in Balochistan. That is why you will see many of them around here. Do visit Bolan Peerghaib ziarat and HannaLake while you're here.

12:51 that wall where you were standing at Hanna Lake was actually built by british when they were ruling and purpose of that wall was to stop the water coming down from mountains after a heavy rainfall or due to melting snow and that might flood the city. The snow on mountains melt in summer and the lake fills with water you should visit the lake in march or afterwards thats when the lake is full of water and looks way better.
@AngelaCarson3 жыл бұрын
Ohhhh nice to know that because that water looked so dirty that it must have been toxic almost, no? I have seen many pics and videos of it, I know it does get prettier but I still belive the other dam is more ... special. I'll let you know in March when I return to Balochistan :-)
@zarakkhan53613 жыл бұрын
@@AngelaCarson well yeah i agree there are more prettier places then this lake and dam you should visit shaban, ziarat, zardalo tangi, pir ghayeb, bolan, khajuri those places are few hundred km away from Quetta idk if your security will allow you to visit those place or not but they are amazing place to visit.

@@AngelaCarson Actually being a social media user, we have a lot of content to see but very limited time. Generally, I perfer to watch videos showing time less than 5 minutes. And I think, everyone do that in this busy world. Specfically, because of good content and your professionally edited videos, whenever I get time, I must click on your long videos, and I always enjoy. However, this is also a fact that I delayed your 3 videos to watch later but could not get time to watch them until now. Meanwhile, your new videos are coming. You can divide the videos in 2 to 3 parts. Those who have ample time will watch all parts of the video. Those who have short time will watch one episode atleast... Ideal time can be between 10 and 15 minutes.... But no matter, majorty has authority. If maximum of your followers want long videos and happy with those, you must accept their demand and continue. After all, in democracy every one has right to give opinion, but majority has the right to rule.

My goal on this channel was always to help people make travel decisions for "destinations" so becoming a "vlogger" and not just a travel guide person is new but ... yes, every time my videos are short, people complain. Tonight's is 16 minutes because I forgot to fly my done that day so let's see what people say :-)
