Now all you need is a vintage Bicycle to see if it is infact possible to ride in those bloomers. Great video thanks for sharing.

This costume is so fun, I would probably wear it all the time if it was mine! LOL! Would you ever consider doing tutorials on the foundation/undergarments you make? I would be fascinated to learn the process behind a corset or other such items.

I LOVED this outfit. This Gibson girl silhouette is one of my favorites. The plaid/herringbone combo you used here is really classic and pretty. I also really appreciate your attention to undergarments. I take an interest in historical costumes from a writer's point of view, and info on undergarments are always hard to get ahold of. This is definitely one of my favorite outfits of yours

I loved the style of that video, first putting everything on and then showing us the whole outfit. The chemise is so cute! (Which we normally wouldn't see I guess). And of course the jacket and the bloomers are lovely! Now I would like to see you wearing that type of jacket but with a skirt from that time, I think it would look amazing with this peplum( not sure if that's what it's called in english). Looking forward to your next project!

Have you tried riding a bike in this costume? 😂😂
@wolfco478 жыл бұрын
I wondered about that too. I think the puffy pants legs might get caught in the extensive gears and chains of a modern bike. That would be super sad because it is such a beautiful outfit. And, I think biking in a corset would probably be a bad idea as they restrict your lung capacity not to mention she said she didn't want to stress the seams of the jacket sleeves by raising her arms for the hat.
@AngelaCostumery8 жыл бұрын
The jacket is pretty sturdy! I have quite a lot of mobility in it, it's just better to be safe than sorry which is why I always put the hat on first. Like you said, I'm pretty sure the pants would get caught (or at the very least dirty) on a modern bike, and finding a proper vintage one locally proved to be impossible.
