Love this revised envelope #4. These papers are so pretty and work along side your doily kit so well. The new pop up information banners are so much easier to read as they are in a plain block with a bold font. They are lilacs, wisteria hangs down from the branch, lilacs grow upright. Both are beautiful.

Angela (and readers!), I am brand-new to all this and absolutely love these projects! But what are they used FOR? Are some designed solely for checking out the bits of delightful ephemera and how they were so cleverly put together? (Because they are and they are!) Are some designed to be personalized, written in, devoted to a particular person? I'm considering doing something suitable for my father, with things that mean something to him and little personal messages. Any ideas?

Hello Sandra! A great question. I am a journal maker, so I make all sorts of items to decorate and store my memories in, in my journal. I love documenting my thoughts etc, but I do not really want to deface the art of the journal, so I like to make pretty pieces to use in my journal, which will enable me to hide the writing in or behind on tags, journal cards or letters. I suppose people do different themes. Mine is floral and vintage mostly, but I have done others too. This would be a great idea for your father, as these memory keepers are wonderful, a constant reminder filled with the past and sentiments for the future.
