My son and I got locked into his room when his door handle stop working. I had to unscrew the screws on the handle with a toe nail clipper file. It worked. Took a while but it was a fun memory now. Great project. So cute.

Hi Angela, My Grandson was locked in the bathroom when he was little and we were all in the garden, he was traumatised by the time we heard him, bless him. It isn’t funny at the time I agree. Thank you for a lovely idea today, simple and achievable at this busy time. Lots of hugs Bella. Xxxx❤

I just love this one page wonder Angela, its so easy and fast yet it looks like you spent forever making this. Gotta love it!!! I think most people have some kind of a story getting stuck somewhere, lol, when I was 5 yrs old I was at my neighbors house and their daddy had made them this spot where he put the mattress outside when he bought a new one and he put it under this little shed he had on the property so we could jump off the roof of the shed down onto the mattress. We jumped and jumped off the roof until leave it to me I jumped and my shorts grabbed onto this nail that was on the sign he had hooked to that shed so there I was exposing all my glory as my shorts and panties were around my ankles and I was hanging there for all to see. It felt like I hung there forever till their dad got a ladder and saved me. I was horrified and everyone else thought it was funny as hell. Funny now, not so much then.

Oh!, my goodness! I could TOTALLY relate to the panic of your daughter locked in the bathroom! A girl friend and I got locked in her bathroom when we were in grade school. They called my brother and he came over and took the doorknob apart, but still that little piece was stuck in the door jamb. The window was painted shut so no way out! My friend fainted dead away! Her mother called the fire department for help. It was a slow day and a HUGE pumper truck with a lot of firemen came and got the door open and my friend hauled out in the fresh air. I was SO embarrassed as the whole neighborhood seemed to be outside by then. I didn't even want to come out of the bathroom by then! LOL! Funny now, not at all funny then!!!

I use you tube all the time so I can fix things. Just the other day I had to look up how to change with windshield wipers on my car. Wonderful projects Miss A, totally divine, I managed to make them up when I got back from Leicester this afternoon, I'm so in awe of this journal thus far, it's truly magical and I know it will be full of lusciousness when it's completed!! I do hope Paige was not too traumatised with her bathroom ordeal, it's not a very pleasant situation to be in, I totally relate to it, as it happened to me once, but in a pub bathroom! Also got stuck in a lift once, so yes, these are not very pleasant situations to be in, so big hugs to you both!!! John laughing! Hand sanitizer! He thought I was crazy ! Funny thing ( had it in my craft room during Covid cleaned my hands wiped w kitchen paper towel then wiped my mat w towel not thinking and WOW ! It was much more dirty than I had ever thought !! Now can’t live W/O it ! ) 😂

LOL. I love KZbin when I need to learn something. In the spring, I had to look up how to get the car we rented into reverse when neither my husband nor my granddaughter could figure it out. (That part of the lock that extends into the doorframe to keep the door closed is a latch.)

Hi Angela! We just had our Thanksgiving on this Saturday past. I'm American & living here in Ireland with hubby. We make a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings & invite all the relatives. It takes days of prep ... very exhausting. The younger generation works, so we have to have it on a Saturday & not actually on Thanksgiving itself. We've been doing this since we moved here in 2018. (Hubby is a native of this town we live in.) Love this project ... love all your projects, of course ... have to go & make at least one Christmasy one right now!
