Repurpose your gift packaging!

We're holding you hostage! 😂😂😂 More gorgeous work, as always!!! 😘😘😘 EDIT*** just had a thought, you could stick the acetate on the back of your top image, then stick onto your backing paper, so now the acetate is sandwiched between the 2 paper layers, then sew your 3 rows of rustic lines around the circular image. That way, when sliding something behind the belly band, it will glide and not catch onto the acetate strip on the back. Just something that sprang to mind, not a criticism! 😘😘😘 EDIT #2*** lol... Just wanted to say, the point about saving the tags etc, not to use but as a template to keep, i do that with small boxes also that are a nice shape and size, some of my prescription boxes are bigger than normal boxes of tablets, but still small and ideal as gift boxes, treat boxes, or even wedding/birthday cake-slice boxes. I keep the ones i like and slice them flat, then when needed draw round them onto plain card to decorate or even direct onto patterned card! Any ladies getting married this year on a budget, you can save a fortune buying plain cream or white card, making your own invitations, RSVP cards, thank you cards, table setting cards, table numbers, order of service cards, guest favours, cardstock bunting, gift cards for bridesmaids etc, menu cards, gift bags and cake boxes! All matching! Just choose a simple motif or embellishment and a small ribbon bow for each to create a coordinated look. For a rustic and value for money look, wrap jute twine and glue on a snippet of faux ivy (for example) onto each card, then mass print or stamp simple wording in gold or silver ink onto the card fronts. Just "Invitation" on the front with some twine and ivy is simple to do, quick to mass make, looks elegant and stylish, and saves you £££££££'s!!! Then the wording inside can be printed off and cut into folded inserts to go into each invitation. For matching venue decor buy swathes of the cheapest fabrics, tulle, lining, chiffon etc ...even add in tons of charity shop net curtains as well, hang them like swags with fishing line and wrap with more twine and ivy garland, perfect for staircases, doorways, unsightly walls, as a top table backdrop, and layer pieces of the same fabrics for tablecloths. Table centrepieces can be recycled jars with a tea light candle in, and more twine and garland tied around the rim. This is just an idea of cheap basic supplies, that can be bought in bulk, and can then be spread around all the decor and stationery to create a theme! It could be silk flowers instead of the candles, strung beads instead of garland, curling ribbon instead of twine... Anyway, my imagination just went from a template idea from a box... To planning your own wedding! I'm either brain dead, or brain strain! No middle ground with me! Lololol 😂😂😂 PS: I've done this with 3 weddings, including my own, and everybody thought I was joking when I said I did it all! 😊😊😊

These are fabulous projects! Thank you for sharing them with us! Fortunately for me I am retired, I have paid my dues....so I get to craft whenever I want! Housework & cooking is now a “whenever” I want! I am on a Keto diet so my eating & husbands are different foods, I usually do bulk cooking on the weekends! That way my week is set! As I have done today! I remember the feeling of going off a holiday. So I will think about you! But in the meantime I am going to be making a lot of your wonderful projects!
