Another beautiful tutorial for our enjoyment. Your attention to detail is on-point each and every time. I simply love all vintage movies and TV series. Downton Abbey, in particular, is my favourite. I have the DVD set. Time to watch them over Christmas, I think. I don’t like Christmas much anymore. It is too commercialised now and the real reason has been lost for many. As a child, I always loved Christmas. Going to Mass in our Cathedral singing the beautiful hymns was a highlight for me. I have much to be grateful for this year and will be together with my daughter and son and his two sons, his ex-wife and her fiancé along with his ex-mother in law. ❤️❤️❤️

You know Elizabeth, I am with you there. Christmas has become very commercialised now. I am not a fan of shopping and have not shopped on the high street or in town for over 3 years. Not because of Lockdown, but because of what it has become. I try to take the parts I love about Christmas, which are the little family traditions with my children. (adult children, lol) Like you, it is the traditional things that appeal to me.It sounds like you are going to be with all your special people and that will be the best part of the day. I love this idea! I am making a gift using your Floral Folly kits, and would you believe that yesterday I just completed your tutorial for Part 6: Layered Pockets using your envelope templates + the long tag & pocket! Such a gorgeous layered look on journal page & love that it's so adaptable to different themes. Angela, you are such a good teacher & your tutorials are so well done that a total paper crafting novice like me can make beautiful journals as I follow along with you. Love the combination of colours - really Christmassy . The image of the plant is a coral berry if you are interested to know- very similar to holly. I am also so excited to watch Call the Midwife and like you disappointed they haven’t got a Downton Abby special but I guess the pandemic has had its role to play in that! I don’t get a lot of time to watch much Christmas TV but I shall make time for CTM! I understand pain my friend- I have a torn rotor cuff, a trapped nerve in my neck and waiting on a knee replacement- so all in all I am falling apart and if I were an animal I would have been shot! Try drinking lemonade made with real lemons. It neutralizes acid and helps with water retention. I'm 63 and it's my go to when I've been too heavy with the salt! Love watching you layer decorations on your pages. Just lovely and so well done.
