I don't know if Im doing this right, but if you do get this message... There is a seemingly easy song at the end of a punk album that I can never get the strumming to. Check out "Scavenger Type" at the end of NOFX's Punk in Drublic. It's about a street musician named Bill. There are no licks, but the strumming..... Just check it out. Please??? Its not Punk. Its just guitar and singing.

Angela , took my girlfriend at the time {MY wife ) to see Cat Stevens LIve in Usher hall Edinburgh Scotland ,he enthralled the aditoriiam for over two hours on his own and just accoustic guitar, fabulous performance from solo gig, PS thanks for the lesson wild world brought lots of memories back.

as long as you're thumb over the top for the F#\D it's easier to fret the F bass note with the thumb over also instead of the hand shift to set you up for the scale riff etc.I noticed Cat plays it live this way, So many great finger picked tunes do it this way as you know, Brilliant lesson for the beginners and those of us that forgot how to play this from years ago, Thanks.

Very nice playin Angela, such a beautiful song I really like how you incorporate old 70’s songs into your teaching agenda. Me thinks you have perhaps parents or older siblings that showed you these? or has it been out of your own inquisitiveness? : ) (didn't think I had that word in me ) but You know the other day I heard “ Old Fashion Love song” and I thought of you and you know one of my faves “Im Not In Love” 10 CC UGH! although I do play it I'm sure you would play it correctly but those would be nice to see you teach, yes they are perhaps deeper emotionally but it would be cool to see you teach stuff like that, ah so many great songs ah?oldies but goodies.
