I thought we weren't going to talk about this dad, as the look on Max's face when you said about Grandma and Pappy. His look then the 'feather guards' (as I call them) went up around his 'biting beak' as if to say sorry. Then seeing him watching himself intently on your phone and reacting to himself with the movements but no sound was funny. To finish with an am I forgiven now flourish made my morning. I noticed that too, Rhonda, Max definitely tried to act like he had no clue anything was wrong, lol, he had his happy cheek feathers all fluffed out and everything. Perhaps our boy's chemistry (hormones, etc.) could have been out of whack a bit the evening before, Dan said he wouldn't even eat his dinner or anything. Now, people appear, who we know he loves, and who love him, and he gets *a bit, too frisky. The time change, the change to his orderly, routined world, etc... probably played a role. Although Max pleads guilty as charged, Big Bird lips, would like to point out his grandparents were reading the paper and he needed their attention. What else could he do? Maybe, one day Dan will understand. And no his Lawyer couldn't plead his case because he is nursing a few bite wounds and giving his ears a rest.
