As a new wwe fan i've noticed people gas themselves up about certain wrestlers appearing (even if those wrestlers aren't needed for that event) and then complain to hell and back when they're wrong, like bruh stop setting yourself for disappointment.

This is true but i will say this and i am sure people also feel this way. AJ Lee hasn't wrestled in a long time. We also didn't hear from Asuka who would've been an amazing surprise. Nothing is wrong with Nikki but really she just isn't that big of a surprise for number 30. Even Alexa would've been a better choice for that spot. Plus she won't be wrestling week to week or even month to month or anything like that. So really Nikki and Alexa should've switched numbers.

@@puremadness I had no illusions that AJ or Asuka would be back. I hoped that by some small chance Becky would return. People do get too gassed up with their fan booking, but Nikki is not a good choice for number 30. She's a legend for sure, but she's not the kind of person you put a number 30, give a few second pause, and then hit her music. If you want that big pop at number 30, Alexa would have been the better choice.

Honestly, I didn't expect to see legendary female wrestlers returning in this year's Women's Royal Rumble Match. At least for me, it was surprising in a good way to see Trish Stratus and, especially, Nikki Bella back.

No, we are pissed off because it made no sense. There were 3 names being rumoured for the 30 spot: AJ Lee, Jade Cargill and Becky Lynch. If you aren't going to pick from those 3, then switch Nikkis spot with either Alexa, Nia, Charlotte or Jordynne Grace. That way you end off the match with 2 who can take the heat as part of her character, or 2 people who would get a legitimately great reaction. Having Nikki Bella, in that position did her no favours. Especially when expectations were so high, and she can't meet those expectations.

Can't understand why you all thought that AJ Lee would come back? She's done with being a wrestler. With all the health problems she had she wants nothing to do with bumping anymore, The only possible way for AJ Lee to come back is for her to work as a commentator. She already worked for Women of Wrestling as a commentator, so she has a bit of experience... but I doubt that WWE would even entertain that idea.

And those who talked about it being lame... both Bellas LEFT WWE in 2023 after their contracts expired and used Garcia as their last name for their appearances. So WWE actually want Nikki to come back. Don't know with Brie as she appeared at AEW supporting her husband Bryan Danielson.
