Yes one of the was born Dori and later changed her name to Reba when she became a C/W singer, but now she identifies as a him and has changed his name to George. I'm sure the twins would get a laugh out of being mentioned in this sketch. As of 5-23-21 they are the oldest conjoined twins.

At 1:15...Nan is 'Stating a Fact'--about the cranial-joined Siamese Twins----They are from my Hometown, In Pennsylvania, U.S---and had seen and known of them and talked to them over the Decades...a friend at the time was one of the Nurses who helped to deliver them....The two sisters were 'special', with quite distinctive personalities and it was not unusual to see and hear them Argue---Really, really loudly argue amongst themselves....even witnessed a shoving match once...And YES---they did often have shouting matches on the sidewalks when the one would go on about having a career as a Country Western Singer----it was like not staring at an Auto Accident....they were LOUD and In-your-Face...and Hated, Hated their Parents....Odd, so damned odd to hear on a British TV Show...something you knew of, that was 3,000 miles from where 'Nan' lives...

As they grew older...there grew a more Vocal 'out-burst' in public, and in private--over not really just their birth condition...but the fact that they 'just couldn't stand, each other--any more....Have personally witnessed, on city streets...two such out-bursts...it was something...each trying to drag the other off in the direction 'they' wanted to go...It got so bad, that family guardians finally had to have them confined to a care facility...as they would start to beat and punch each other....then end...one came down with severe pneumonia...which quickly spread into the other sister....(rumor track says that the Legal guardians--due to the extreme severity of the pneumonia and with Medical Advice...decided that if possible, to let them with care...let Nature take it course and let them pass-on..the one sister died...so they sedated the other one...who knew, her time had come...and just closed her eyes--that was it...she died about 15 minutes or so, from her sister....At times...over the years...they were hysterical...their language--much like Nan's...but, just tragic that they had such a bad break to live a life, such as that.....
