Richard has a great voice, but it looks like he has not demonstrated beyond his comfort zone, unlike Mamaclay. In singing competition you must be able to conquer your comfort zone to impress the judges and audience.

It is only his 4th appearance on a stage. How can you compare him to Mamaclay who is not only in her 25th year performing but she won a World Championship 14 years ago, participated in Asia Got Talent and has been coaching for many years. Personally I don’t know what she’s doing in Xfactor. This show must be for a talent discovery and Richard is one of the talents there is to discover. Can you see Harry Styles go to Xfactor competition or Rihanna now?

@@DavidAquilna I fully agree with you on this one. I had never heard Richard sing before the Xfactor. Having said so, i had never heard Mamaclay before either. She has an amazing voice, no one can deny that however when looking at all contestants on google one can easily compare their experience. Kudos to Richard, who with his amazing and unique voice achieved so much already with minimal experience!!! May he be the winner!
