I have the ND Sculpting Palette and I enjoy it. I was curious because I have a lot of eyeshadow. Like ALOT! I went through ALL of them as I watched and swatched what I have (Sydney Grace, MAC, ND, ViseArt, Nomad, JP, etc) and think that the ViseArt Neutral Matte 01 palette captures the ND Palette very, very well. Surprisingly, none of my SG matched up with ND, and only a few MAC shadows matched up as well. ND has a unique color formula. Editing to add that next to the ND Biba palette the sculpting palette is cooler. Next to the NDGlam palette it is warmer.

I am 46 and after about 15 years of color I have actually been heading towards the neutrals with just a hint of color and absolutely love it. I have been using both warm neutral and cool neutral and really have fun !

@@disneylove1179 what’s your fave way to incorporate them? shimmer? lower lash line? i’m LIVING for the super sparkly neutral-ish indie shadows rn - shine by sd sparklers, TOGB sparkle fall neutrals collection, and terra moons also. i still use color in the crease a lot, but have been incorporating more browns and mauves.

Re: what you said about this being the year of neutrals with a twist - At risk of sounding like I'm talking down to you or something - you have really pulled together your personal style over the years in that everything is more subtle by itself, but it's intricately cohesive and you still look stunning and highly expressive. When I first started watching you, I feel like everything was 'on ten.' Like, nails were wild, outfit was loud, earring were huge, makeup was full peacock, and while it wasn't my thing, I appreciated your vibrance and enthusiasm - it's the very thing that made you start the channel I enjoy. But these days I see you will wear something more elegant, earrings can sometimes be more subdued, the whole look is scaled back, but it's giving excellent taste and curation and I really appreciate your evolution so much. I've learned how to incorporate your 'more' aesthetic into my makeup and it's like I'm arriving at the same place you are at, but I was coming from 'less' and you were coming from 'more.'

I’ve never worn pinky/peach eye colors but I have worn IN and Hoodoos with Peace or Cow Girl plus one of the shimmers multiple times now and it’s sooo pretty. If the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer dries down, they have definitely reformulated it. I received a deluxe sample from Sephora a few years ago and wore it on a day when I was just running errands. I didn’t powder it, and unfortunately one of those errands was taking one of my cats to the vet for a routine checkup. I ended up with cat hair stuck all over my face. It was not good. 😹

Oh that clionahd palette just stole the show! I saw a smaller creator using it, unfortunately she ended up on the side of the internet that has never seen a multichrome or a special shade, people kept saying it was "patchy" 🤦♀️, no matter how much she and I tried explaining how light bounces off these shades they weren't getting it. Imagine thinking clionadh has bad quality eyeshadows, the audacity!!!

I'm doing my makeup along with you. It's so fun to see how awesome your makeup always turns out! I love the lip from Mario. IT looks so great on you - it brightens the entire look. I also bought ND mini eye sculpt, and I've been loving it! I found that using the midtone and dark shadow first (just like your technique) helps build the intensity. I tried to layer them with light to dark, and it got patchy and gave me some fallout. Thanks for the review!

If I could afford it, I’d definitely be trying more high end products. However, I feel like I’ve tried enough high end products over the years to feel confident enough that I can pretty much get the same (and sometimes better) at the drugstore for so much less. For example, I know a lot of people stick their nose up to Sheglam but honestly, their quality, product roll out and pricing is unbeatable for me in Australia. aEspecially when it comes to cheek products. We don’t get all U.S. products here. Things I’m happy to splurge on is eyeshadow from indie brands because drugstore (or high end) simply hasn’t caught up in that category.
@Jess04x03Күн бұрын
Yeah... people definitively don't hate on sheglam because they are not high end. There are really a lot of other issues with that specific brand that should concern you....
@brittanyfletcher434Күн бұрын
Agree that people’s issues with SheGlam have more to do with ethical concerns, not so much with the products. But it’s true that you can definitely get some quality products from the drugstore, though I completely disagree that they’re the same quality. I’ve experimented so much with drugstore and luxury brands, and when it comes to base products, I honestly don’t think the drugstore holds a candle to some luxury concealers/foundations/powders/etc. But being able to afford to try out different brands is definitely a privileged point of view.

All those fancy department store makeup brands are all associated in my mind with snooty sales clerks and older ladies in fur coats. Now that I am an older lady (no fur coat though), maybe it's time for me to brave the snooty clerks

I would stay away from any & all Natasha Denona eyeshadow bc it’s not worth it for the high price & poor quality product. I recently bought 5 of her palettes & im disappointed in all of them. I have much better that cost 1/2 the price. They sell better at the drugstore.
@martelangelandКүн бұрын
As someone with very greasy eyelids, I politely disagree 😊 I have tried quite a lot of eyeshadows, and ND are the ones that stay on my lids the best - everything creases (of course I use a primer), but hers last significantly longer. So for me, it’s worth it. I love the Retro and the I need a nude! But for those unsure, I’d suggest a mini one to try the quality before deciding.
@mcColorado4890Күн бұрын
@@martelangelandSame. I don’t have greasy eyelids but have hooded eyes. ND shadows work really well on me. Generally very long lasting and easy to use.
@denisesheffield48122 сағат бұрын
Steff beauty did a video wearing it and testing hours later. Was really surprised that the shadows creased and faded a lot on her. I'm a ND stan and never had any problems with her shadows but this one looked terrible on Steff after her wear test.
@katia_g21321 сағат бұрын
I haven't tried ND yet, but I would buy the smallest size palette to try out. Sorry you wasted a bunch of money. That's why I take what everyone says with a grain of salt, especially now. Makeup has a resale value, and I don't want to be stuck with a product that I don't like that's also not worth anything. So if I buy something and can't return it, the only option is donating it.

Love this look so much! I didn’t really understand or I should say I wasn’t thinking oh wow this a palette that I need when I first saw the new Natasha Denona all matte mini palette that was just released but now I do! Yes, perfect companion palette and wow the Clionadh scattered lights palette that Mily @badtothebrow is so gorgeous! The eye look turned out so stunning ✨✨ I love a halo eye! When you applied the purple, yellow, gold with some silver omg I drooled 🤭 that is impressive and so cool! Absolutely, yes 2025 the year of what you call Spicy Neutrals with a twist is what I’m talking about!! I really love this entire look! GORGEOUS 💜 That purple with the yellow 💛 and gold just so my style! I love testing new mascara’s! The new Gourmande Girls did an amazing job with their mascara and I never really love a brand new mascara when I use it there’s been occasions but wow that’s stunning! It gave you such lifted, volume and curl! Again very impressed! The new Natasha Denona mini palette is also really pretty just on its own. I will eat my words. I’ve been using your technique and using a matte white shadow in my inner corner and it really makes a beautiful difference. I know I’m doing something right when I get a compliment on my inner corner lol! I love learning new techniques and ways you use products not just in the eyeshadow category. I love using eye primers and I’m very intrigued and interested in the Clionadh shadow base enhancer. I have always had a soft spot for Urban Decay! They were a brand that was really falling off but they have made a comeback and I really like where they’re going! The face bond foundation and the new highlighters in different formulas is so smart. It really looks beautiful. I also love the packaging. I know there’s been so much discussion about “2016 makeup” and wanting full coverage products in beauty again. I think the Brands are listening. I’m really enjoying what I’ve seen so far. The new Laura Mercier skin tint is beautiful and gives that perfect coverage that I enjoy. I always love and appreciate when brands do full size and also minis. I know that the mini products are sometimes the perfect size and amount, I can travel with them and finish the product.
