Its called consumer effect. Meaning brands will release the products that majority of consumers will buy, because if miniscule demand, then no need to supply. Lets hope people go back to wearing colors and eye makeup. 🤷‍♀️

The pastel ish one is very “sugar plum xmas faerie” vibes and pretty different for a Christmas palette. Cute! And the other one is just yummy cranberry warm cozy chocolate vibes. I don’t own any oden’s eye and this looks tempting! ❤

I get very excited to see these palettes every year. This year the shades aren't quite for me, but I'm enjoying watching you use them as it always gives me new ideas for shadow placement. Oden's Eye artwork is always top notch too - the covers of the Christmas palettes is always so stunning!

Be careful with lasik- many eye doctors don’t recommend it. It can cause permanent dry eye or pain and people have had MASSIVE regret. I’ve gone down TikTok rabbit holes about it lol. I also think your glasses are fab 🤩🤩 And I love your eye looks as always.

I had LASIK a few years ago and regret it. I now need glasses again, so it was a waste of money. I also had complications and had to have a second procedure (which was extremely painful because they had to peel back the LASIK flaps in my corneas). The dry eye is permanent for me, unfortunately. Definitely do some research on the options. 💛

Oh geez.... not sure what to do... LOVED The first year palettes in 2022. HATED last year's holiday palettes - no pigment, boring color story, etc. I used them once or twice and never again. I'm not surprised they are still on the site. I''m on the fence with these color stories, not interested in the pastel one, not what I want to wear in winter but the Silvery Bliss one is a contender. Thanks for the thorugh review though and you still have the best swatches!

My money is safe. I think Theresa is Dead pretty much summed up the thoughts on the "holo" color in last years. There are better holo colors and that's why I yeeted my palette. I also like the others, but have been moving Oden's eye off my plate since there are better formulas.

Someone on IG pointed out that Christmas is in summer for those in the southern hemisphere so the lighter palette is perfect for them. I said it looked like Barbie summer so makes sense to me! I definitely like the darker one more but I want them both because I love Oden’s Eye so much and the shimmers are definitely useful as companions to other palettes

Wooo got here early! Love these looks. I’m liking the cool toned colours of the Silvery Bliss palette more than the pastel, but both look very beautiful! I have to agree with you that most of these palettes work really well as companion palettes. I use the little ghost palette all the time with my other eyeshadows. To me it’s worth the money and the shimmers are to die for. But I love anything that glitters, maybe I’m easy to please 😭💖❄️✨

I think the first ones they did were their best 🤔 but I managed to pass on them with no regrets! Love odens eye. They do cool things and it’s nice to admire from afar! Oh my brother and grandmother both got lasik and it was great for them! For my brother he had friends visiting so I remember us going out to the club and we would all cheer lasik! when he had to put the eye drops in post procedure 😂

i love the odens eye formula. I have their alva palette and I use the matte pinks ALOT. I just honestly dont see mysself using it up, so I cant justify buying more... I realised I barely have any brown eyeshadow... I used to use a very cheap mua makeup academy broncer which worked amazing but it fell and crumbled when I moved and I threw it away :/

I want LASIK so bad too- I’m very very near sighted… I had a more important surgery I needed first for health reasons but now that that’s done I’m saving up for it… 🤞🏽 I’m 39 but it’s not too late- ❤

I really wanted it but my optician in the UK gave me 2 warnings, Lasik does not stop your eyes changing in future, I am very short sighted too and my eyes had been stable for years, I hit my 40s and they began changing. You also lose the option to wear contact lenses in the future if your eyes do change. I'm glad I didn't spend the money as my eyes have changed since then and so it would have been back to glasses. This advice was given in 2021 so it could have changed, I didn't look into it again after that, but it's worth looking into.

I have loved OE for years but have been disappointed with the palettes I’ve tried from them since the original Christmas beauties (2022). I’m noticing patchiness with the mattes, and dry or hard-panned shimmers. It’s frustrating, but they are falling in my list of preferences. Your looks are beautiful though, of course!

Funny hearing you talk about LASIK while going through eye refractive surgery. If you can get LASIK great but if you are only eligible to PKR photo keratinization keep in mind you will need more recovery as it hurts longer while it re-epitheliates. I took a week off to deal with it but it's a nice me to me gift I agree !

Hey Angie- I’m an optometrist. Just FYI LASIK won’t work well for your near vision. Over 40 your reading will get worse every year and LASIK won’t prevent that. Just want you ti know before you spend your money!
