Juvias Place Saharan 2 Review & Swatches

Yay! I've been waiting for this! I thought this palette looked sort of boring, but then I used it and changed my tune. I really like this one. I think it's one of my favorites. I was surprised at how much I liked it. I've done a lot of looks pairing this palette and the Magic palette. Working with the Masquerade and the Saharan 2, they are pretty different for me. I agree with you about the red. The red pinky color is pretty, but a more red color would have been nice.

Yeah I was accually also surprised at how much I enjoy it, even when I bought it I was pretty sure I was gonna be "meh too neutral" but boy was I wrong haha :P

Yes girl, I couldn’t resist this palette either, and definitely does not disappoint! I even got the blush palettes during Black Friday and I use them as eyeshadow too.Cant wait for the tutorial Angelica!😘

Okay I've seen Paulina say it's her favourite and I always thought it was boring like you but then I saw this video and yours and Paulina's 3 looks 1 palette videos and I'm SOLD! Especially on that matte pinky wine shadow with the duochromes in the palette. YUM!

I wasn't going to pick this up since I thought it did look like the other juvia's place palettes I own. But I was pleasantly surprised and that duochrome icy blue/green one is so beautiful. I'm glad i have it.

I got the Masquerade palette. I love it! Definitely some similar shades to some of my Makeup Geek eyeshadows. I have yet to play w it. Going on a trip for a month. Looking forward to play w it when I get back. Don't want to travel w it and get it broken. I saw the Zulu palette on their website. Love that yellow. Looks insanely pigmented. There is a sale going on! I don't know if I really need it though. We shall see~ Love your eyeshadow look today! Reddish pink w light blue in the inner corners... Wow!

Also just received the Douce palette and OMG IT IS SO CREAMY. I can't wait to play. Juvia's Place makes my favorite palettes by a mile. I have all of them except the Nubian 1 because neutrals are boring lol I will buy any colorful palettes they release. They're phenomenal and the colors are always pretty unique and super pigmented.

Yeeeiii! I was waiting for your video, and also with the Douce palette. You should see the video Safai Kelly did with this palette she used every color in just 1 eye look and convinced me into buying it (I thought the colors were too similar to other Juvia's place palettes and she proved me wrong)

Such great close ups of the colors. Thank you for the great review. I have the Masquerade palette and the Nubian 2. I really a waiting for them to come out with a true red shadow. I am not going to buy this one. I only have 2 eyes to play with and am holding out for something I do not have yet. There are 2 colors in there that I would love, but that is not enough to buy a whole palette. Love your reviews.

I do have similar shades to the peach and seafoam blue from clionadh cosmetics. They had a lot of duochromes and the birthstone saga series.

This palette is so gorgeous! I'm still waiting on mine :/ JP switched to a cheaper international shipping courier but now the tracking stops after the package arrived to your country. My tracking ended on the 27th on november and usually I get my package after a couple of days of customs etc. but I still havent received it. I feel like I should've waited and order it off Beautybay instead :/ I'm kinda worried tbh, hope nothing went wrong with the package.

I just picked this up...my first purchase from Juvia's Place! I was surprised myself that the one matte brown is actually orange and the red is actually pink lol. But the colors are gorgeous... soooo rich and pigmented! I went back and ordered more. 🙄

I used this palette when I went to my boyfriend's best friend's baby shower. She's having a girl so I wanted a pink look. I used all three mattes and the metallic burgundy and I put Moonlit, one of the new Colourpop Supernova liquid shadows, over it and it was absolutely gorgeous.I got soooo many compliments and everyone kept telling me they loved my makeup. I dont use eyeshadowprimers :) I use concealer on my lid and then set that with regular powder :)

Oh, that is a bit unexpected. I tried out your way after getting you answer, but it didn't work that well for me. Maybe then you can make a video about concealers, fixers, glitter glues and other stuff and tricks you do to make eyeshadows (and pigments) be more bright, stick well and last longer. Do you happen to know if any of JP's palettes have more of a true, deep red..? I've been lusting over the Saharan II for ages 'cause I've been loving what I've seen from them and have been dying to find a deep, true red shadow in general, but none of the palettes I've paged through seem to have that actual color (as far as my screen and eyes have found.) Well, put me down as thinking that you would like this palette. You really seem to like most if not all of what Juvias Place has put out, so much so that you convinced me to buy them.
