I'm so happy that more and more content creators promote using stuff we already own! I have 26 palettes and I think it's pretty well-thought collection but often I see a palette and I feel like I'm not using it enough, I can't even imagine how overwhelming it has to be to have a hundred or so

Haven’t watched the full video yet, but I absolutely love the idea of more videos with products you already have. Both because it will be good for your health, and because I love seeing people use products they’ve had for a while. Some of my oldest products are barely used because I barely ever know what to do with it, others I could use in the dark because I know exactly which colors I love together. (also there is a far bigger chance i have something older and can get inspired by you 😊)

I love the idea of shopping our stash. There are always new temptations to buy but we usually have items in our collection to revisit and love all over again. I understand that influencers work with brands to support their channels on current releases but it is important to keep ourselves in check by using what we may already have to create a look with alternate items we may have already purchased. I know I have been guilty of wanting the newest and best item in a category, forgetting about the amazing existing finds in my collection. It is so satisfying to achieve empties and hitting pan on cosmetics rather than buying a product that was a "must have" at the time that expired before it was adequately used or barely touched. Keeping ourselves grounded and remembering the selling point that drove us to purchase in the first place and actually enjoying it several times is so much more satisfying than repetitive investments in items that ultimately end up collecting dust. My collection is quite extensive and I really had to reframe by compulsions to buy, buy, buy with little consumption of the actual products.

I adore seasonal makeup!!!! It’s one pf my favorite parts if makeup (and fashion) to full live in each season in their time and then transition, along with holiday/occasion specific makeup! There’s something so satisfying and comforting about it. I’d love to see more videos doing seasonal makeup with favorites from your collection! What I really love most on KZbin is people doing their makeup, especially eye looks paired with blush and lip. I love that in all forms: chatty GRWM, tutorials, trying new makeup, etc I will also say, some of my favorite fall palettes are Beauty Bay Fiery and Wilderness, snd Colourpop Raw Beauty Kristi collab are three of my favorites! The Nubian 3 coral palette has always baffled me as to where it fits best, but fall makes sense! And I always thought of Lust for dusk as more winter, but I’m amending that to fall and winter. Looking forward to creating some fall looms with those! 😊

If you are open to suggestions, I think doing a Fall series or holiday looks like Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas & NY series, just throwing ideas out there. Nobody puts together a colorful, sometimes dark/grungy looks like you do! Yes please! I want more shop my stash content. I bought so much makeup over the pandemic that I'm trying to sit back and enjoy what I have. I recently challenged myself to doing 15 looks with one of the carnival palettes and it was so much fun and made me realize all the color combinations that I already possess that I had been overlooking. Thanks for the reminder to shop my stash. Hubby is out of town (a rare occurrence) so I can pull them all out without him freaking out over how many I have. The Lore palette is one of my all time faves, that bright green is SO stunning and the copper color? photos don't capture that beautiful shift from almost a green gold to a pinky copper, its such a special shade!
