I love that it's NOT limited edition. I was supposed to be on a no-buy in January (except that I panic bought a bh cosmetics palette ahem) and a low-buy until summer and I'm not feeling like committing to a transatlantic order during a low-buy. I might pull the trigger down the line, as it is very beautiful!

@@lisamoss7632 I actually had two bh palettes that I wanted to buy come February, but Smitten in Switzerland sold out from BeautyBay a day or two after I put it on my wishlist, and it was also sold out from the German site, and on the US site it's nowhere to be found. Bh Germany said they're not restocking it as it looks now (I guess they can't afford it...). I'm really beating myself up over not getting it from BeautyBay when I had the chance ... but I don't currently have an income. But after Smitten in Switzerland disappeared from the face of the earth I panic bought Summer in St Tropez. Not letting it slip out of my reach!!!

I need to work more with the Nomad palettes I have because I don't know that I always love their formulas? But I maybe just haven't spent enough time with them. You made me want this palette! It's so gorgeous with the packaging and the color story, and your looks were inspiring

I am not a fan of their mattes, at all. Or, at least their older mattes, anyway. They do NOT build on each other. You can absolutely do a "one matte crease and a shimmer on the lid" kind of look, but anything slightly more complex, and they tend to become VERY difficult to work with. It's like they're too finely milled and powdery to stick to each other, or something? It's bizarre. I haven't tried any of their newer mattes, though. I disliked the mattes so much that I don't really want to take another chance.

Nomad's colour stories are right up my alley. I own three palettes from them now (Orient Express, Iceland Fire&Ice and Haunted Europe) and they're all so good! Definitely gonna get this one, it's similar to the Wilderness palette by BeautyBay, but icier and without the shades I personally don't care for.

The National Parks palette blew me away, not just with the shades and the quality but with the packaging and presentation. It’s indie makeup but with bougie, boutique treatment of its customers 🙂 This new palette looks too cool-toned for me but I’m tempted to get it anyway because I want to support them.

I love putting a different shade on the inner crease! It is my current favorite "go to". Also, that blue look was stunning! I would like this palette but I just sprang for Blend Bunny's surge and dollhouse, so it'll be a bit before I will treat myself again 😅 I am glad it isn't limited edition!

i'm not sure if you'd agree, but i think your new lighting setup (and maybe new camera? hard to tell) is fantastic and a big improvement over what you had before. this brighter light makes your face look less "flat" (low contrast) and it's easier now to see textures and tonal differences in the eyeshadows imo. you look gorgeous!
