kendyl kenwabikise I’m the same! Watching too many “big KZbinrs” dragged me into an almost monochromatic universe of copy-paste makeup. Ever since I’ve stopped watching them, and opting for creative people, my makeup looks far better. Not only can I use my palettes to their full capacity, I also end up having fun and getting some compliments. I love warm colours, they are easier for me to work with too, but venturing out of your comfort zone is rewarding! 💖

I loved both but that last one! Oh my! So gorg! I’ve figured out while watching you do your eye look why I have such a problem. You have much more deep set eyes and a nicer crease. I’ve got hooded eyes so these look a bit different on me but that’s ok. It’s the color scheme I needed the help with. You’re great with putting them together and have a good eye for color. No pun intended.

Julie I have hoods too, and a portion actually goes under the upper section when my eyes are open. Whatever I do in my crease disappears, and I don’t have enough space between my brows and the part above the crease, so I can’t take things higher either 😫 While I adore the creative looks I see on KZbin, I can’t replicate most. I love watching Angelica because she inspires me, even though I can’t exactly do similar looks.

Susie Coban My eyes do the same thing. I got a tube of glitter glue when I got the UD heavy metal pallet. Such a huge mistake. 😂 I blinked and the glue got all over my eyes. So I put the shadow on , and blinked, and then had bronze shimmer shadow from my brows to my lashes. I was the most glamorous racoon ever! 😂 It doesn't help I haven't been good to my skin in the past. I'm 42 now and have 4 inch eyes covered in 2ft of eyelid.

Julie “4 inch eyes covered in 2 ft of eyelid” 😂😭😂😭 I understand you fully. My eyelids have always been textured, and they used to be very oily. Half a year of tons of products later, they’re free of the excess sebum, but softer shadows (especially metallics!) just smudge up. I have a few recommendations that might hopefully work. After my skincare, I go in with a layer of Nars Smudge Proof (best primer ever!), and then a thick layer of Mac Paint Pot in Painterly because my eye area is way too dark. Now the Paint Pot, unlike all the other cream shadows that ruined my life, dries on its own and doesn’t move, but partly to increase the durability, partly to allow shadows not to stick, with a flat eyeshadow brush, I add RCMA setting powder. (Little trick: Paint Pot dries quickly, and for it not to crease, I keep my eye closed and my brow raised until after the powder.) I have UD’s Moondust palette. I got it last year, could not figure out how to use it, and was disappointed in the product. This year, though, I’m in love, and I already want to get a backup because I don’t ever want to run out of it. Get yourself Nyx’s Glitter Glue -it’s game changing! 😍 After I apply my transition and crease colours, I get the tiniest bit of the primer, and start bouncing my finger on the lid. It gets immediately tacky -even my finger sticks on it. I quickly add the glitters with sponge tip applicators. You want to keep your brow raised into your hairline while you apply the primer, or the lids stick together 😅 I hope this works for you. A whole palette going to waste would suck. I do my best to make things work for me, and if all else fails, I pass them onto my Mum haha

The Huda pallette looks amazing, I hope more brands will be putting out colourful pallettes. Speaking of that, have you played with the red shade from the Certifye palette any more since doing the review? I remember you mentioned you weren't so sure regarding the red shade.
