Remember in the garden, before Adam and Eve ate the fruit they were naked and had no idea that they were naked or that they should be ashamed of it. It was only after "their eyes were opened" that they realized their situation. I honestly believe that there's a lesson in that. He has shut eyes and ears for the benefit of those He insulates. He's protecting them. Because you're right, once you know better you have to do better. When you can hear Him and understand Him you can't pretend you didn't hear Him say "don't do that" because you want to do it anyway. Not without consequences. I am far from perfect. I fumble His instructions daily but as soon as I realize I messed up I immediately repent of it because I genuinely can't have Him mad at me. I can't tolerate that. It makes my body feel weird and just disrupts my everything. I've also realized that when people realize you see through what they want you to see they pull away from you and hide. It's an extremely uncomfortable realization when they realize that all the things they thought they kept secret from me weren't. I don't call people out on their stuff. It's not helpful and if I go about it wrong then I have to deal with God irritated and it's easier to just let them go. Being set apart very often means being isolated. It's just part of it. The good thing is it's hard to miss people too much when you have the great I Am to talk to and consult with. The truth is, I don't mind Him ordering my steps because He's always got a better plan than I do.
