Not sure it’s some massive money saving exercise... she’s raising these children beautifully and educating them impeccably., And raising children is extremely expensive. In some other countries aside from the us (I’m not American) there is terrible poverty and children are left in some awful positions in orphanages and as bad as the American social care system may be it isn’t as bad as some in 3rd world countries., she’s given these children a wonderful life. Yes it’s a top university due to many factors: infrastructure, # foreign teachers, # of published papers, but in few words everyone who studies here (like me) knows it’s a not a good university for intl students. The educational system for korean is way tougher and advanced than those for foreigners. So Yonsei is just okay.

Gosh I know the feeling. My daughter's mom passed away when my kid was a little girl. It was just me and mija for 10 years. My entire life was about protecting her and making sure she was happy. The day she went to university was so emotionally charged for me.
