Bonjour Joël, chanson merveilleuse et, pour moi, nostalgique, ma grand-mère l'écoutait souvent dans les enregistrements d'Yves Montand et d'Edith Piaf donc la version qui me frappe le plus est celle en français, Angelina est merveilleuse grâce à sa voix splendide et ton céleste, donc c'est le seul que j'entends en anglais, merci encore..Massimo

Have to believe Angelina listened to Edith Piaf's wonderful version...she has such a wonderful ear for music and her interpretation is simply stellar and beautiful...no matter what age. She is a musical genius since she was 6-7 years old. Incredible what she can do with her vocal instrument. Edith became a specially popular in the United States, during World War II as an international star… Movies, plays and, of course, quite the lyricist and vocalist. I do have a three CD set (sorry to say someplace?) with a boat 50 or 60 songs. Now you make me want to dig it out. That's a good thing.🌺 Angelina is of that caliber❗️ You know, my friend, it's bad enough, having Angelina make us cry… And now you're doing it. We don't want her to slip away from anyone, but we do know the emotion that Sara felt, having to share her with the world. 🌺

Sorry for my émotion, yes I remember Sara backstage in "gloomy sunday", perhaps the same feelings ! I took also a photo in Norway last year when Angelina left the stage and proud Mum Sara was downstairs to welcome her and take her in her arms ! Lot of emotion 💕

AJ sang La Vie En Rose so she clearly knows Edith's work, beautiful piece by this young artist. Song was popular in Europe in the mid-60's when I was there, brings back memories.

@@fande...Angelina Oui, pour cet été en Norvège je n’ai plus d’espoir. Si son album sort en octobre, je pense il y aura des concerts aux Etats-unies début 2024 et en Europe en été 2024 😀. Mais, j’en sais rien. Mais j’espère qu’elle fera un tour monde, la Norvège inclus, pour un concert intime, comme l’an dernier 😊

I never knew Yves Montand was such a talented singer, I only remember him as an excellent actor. Beautiful, timeless song, which sounds great when sung in both French and English. Probably prefer the French version just a bit better. Wonderful video clip of our young Angelina strolling thru a picturesque park in Autumn. Can’t wait to hear her new album!
