It's so hard to explain, Petra, how this child phenom can express such melancholy and reach the depths of sadness that makes us well up with tears; she touches our soul. Then she smiles and waves bye like nothing happened. She has the gift of innate melancholy expression, while not living a sad life. In some ways she is the perfect "actor". What she did with "Bohemian Rhapsody" in front of millions of people (worldwide) was nothing short of EXTRAORDINARY!! And she was the one that rearranged that iconic song to suit her purpose. Yes, she has a tremendous gift, but she also has worked very hard to perfect it. And to top it off she is humble, kind, generous, unassuming, unpretentious, and beautiful inside and out. I've seen a lot of talent in my life time (I'm an old man), but I haven't seen anything like Angelina. Thanks for your thoughtful reaction to her. You are very blessed. I'm not sure what I could possibly to the other's comments. Angelina has been singing and making me cry the last two to two and a half years. Ever since she blew my mind with her singing, acapella a Billie Holiday song at 7 yrs. old. Not a performance has gone by no matter how many times I've watched and listened she never fails to move me to tears. It is like this song, after Angelina sings it, it is her song. Adele just did a cover of it. So if you are ready to re-think all your knowledge of music, then this girl is for you.

The amount of emotion she puts into the song while still reading the lyrics and singing in her third language is almost beyond belief.

The vocals here is quite insane. As she was twelve years old, that was as deep as she could go, today, 19 months later she can go even deeper. And several songs has shown that she can go pretty high as well, both with mixed voice and head voice. But even as impressive that range is, I think the richness, warmth and control are bigger assets. However, the most striking quality (that we comprehend) is the emotions she can pour into every sound! As you are in Sweden, maybe you would like to hear Angelina perform in Sweden? She did “I’ll be there “ when she was eight. She possessed the same crazy instant tears quality then too!

Agreed - For me the BR performance was everything I have been waiting to hear from her. That was the first performance where I felt herself shone through, by which I mean where her need to emulate the original singer of the song held her own true self at bay. She was magnificent on AGT and did a BRILLIANT job with BR. A game changer as some have described it.

Great reaction! I love your comment "She can take songs that can really be belted out and make you feel them without belting." The emotion she pulls from her covers and then gives to us, is incredible. You mentioned sadness... now that you mentioned it, I've felt it too, but until your observation, it has been overwhelmed by shear awe of her talent. I don't know if the feeling of sadness (not primary feeling mind you, but an under-tow) is from her somber facial expressions much of the time, or the nature of the songs and/or genre she chooses to sing, or if her old soul suffered sadness and/or trauma. In looking at it as a whole, I believe it is a combination of her maturity, giftedness, tonal qualities, music genre.

This has been my favorite Angelina song since she did it a couple of years ago. However, it has been bumped to #2 since her rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" on AGT Champions. She puts so much emotion in her songs it is scary, particularly since she is only a kid. Her most emotional performance to date is "If You go Away" which she did at 12, even though it was only recently posted by her fan channel (Grandma). It's a French song from the 1950's about a woman's lover leaving her because she is pregnant. Try to get through that one without bawling like a baby. If you want to hear her belting abilities, I recommend "It'S A Man's World," I Have Nothing" or "The Show Must Go On." She got pipes!!!

When Angelina chooses or arranges a song that is slow enough, her voice caresses every note in an extraordinary way. When she just covers a random pop song, it's kind of ordinary, but when she does a song like this, hearing it is an incredible experience.
