There's a reason why she is able to improve upon all of Adele's ballads that she records. Adele, as great as she is, can only be considered a non-jazz 'Pop' singer and when it comes to heartfelt ballads , there is no way any 'Pop' singer can bring forth the emotion laden penetration of a true jazz specialist like Angelina who learned her craft from her mentor, the great Billie Holiday. There's a reason why she said, 'If not for Billie Holiday, there would be no Angelina Jordan'.

❤️❤️❤️❤️👣 Zack, while Angelina no doubt has gifts that she was born with, how her brain is wired for example, she has worked her rear end off to get where she is. She has studied those that came before very carefully. It has been said that she practices hours each day. If you watch her sing a song at 7 say, then watch her sing the same song at 8,9, 10 you can see the incremental progress that her hard work and practice produces. This journey of hers cannot have always been fun and easy, not to say she doesn't enjoy what she does but it still takes hours of effort behind the scenes where there is no adulation from an audience or rising number of views on her KZbin. Nobody gets to where she is without incredible dedication and a strong work ethic. The end result of her hard work is music like this that we all get to enjoy, but she only makes it SEEM effortless by the work she has put into perfecting her craft.
