I am in awe of your musical understanding on a technical level. I spent twelve years working sound and engineering for rock bands in the 60s and 70s, doing sound for mainly English and Canadian bands both live in concert and studios. Your descriptions are accurate in the few videos I've watch to instruct a new singer how to place their vocal cords. Keep up the great work. She was nine on this performance.

Great reaction! We all knew this was coming? There is no way anyone could anticipate what they were about to hear! - Absolutely the best performance by any child ever on any song! - Period. Actually, I seriously doubt if any adult can match it. Angelina tried it when she was older, but it wasn't as good as this one. If She can't do it, no one can!

In 2015 at the age of 11, Angelina published the book Mellom to hjerter (Between Two Hearts) illustrated by her grandmother Mery Zamani. She is the youngest published author in Norway's history. The book tells the story of Angelina's meeting with a poor motherless girl in Asia to whom Angelina gives her shoes. In return the girl promises to always pray for Angelina. From that time on, whenever Angelina performs in public, she is barefooted. Even when she is performing outdoors in freezing weather, she does not wear shoes. She says that she will do this until all the children in the world have shoes. That speaks volumes about the character of this young phenom. So among other labels, she is often referred to as vakker barfot prinsessen (the beautiful barefoot princess). I don't know how many suggestions you have received for your next AJ reaction, but for a complete about face, and to see how versatile this remarkable girl is, I think you would enjoy her incredible performance of the Cole Porter classic "Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye". Quite the voice When Angelina (from Oslo) was 6 years old, she met a homeless girl around her age in Iran. (Her grandmother is Iranian artist Mery Zamani.) The girl did not have any shoes, and Angelina says her feet were scarred. Angelina gave the girl her own shoes. Not only does Angelina honor the young homeless girl she met by performing barefoot, but she also wrote a book about the experience. It’s called Mellom to jherter (“Between two hearts”), and was published in 2015, when Angelina was only 9 years old. According to her website, Angelina then “vowed never to appear on stage again wearing shoes until all the world’s children had them.” She keeps that promise to this day, as she says that little girl “is always in my heart.” She arranges all of her own music.

It's a kind of investiture, the reaction to this song by Angelina, it's the watershed between simple listeners and fans. This in homage to Screamin' Jay Hawkins, the original great writer and singer of 1956. Probably not many adults know him, certainly the only little girl of 9 years in the world who knows him and who also thinks of singing him without any fear, is this crazy Angelina. When you compare it to Hawkins' original you realize what a great job she has done on the lyrics and on the way to sing them, suggesting the author's style, but without chasing his extreme scenographic forms, she just needs to use her voice .. all done by a 9 year old girl! 🤩

Very impressive reaction! I love Angelina Jordan and my second favorite young female singer is Diana Ankudinova from Russia. If you like magical and mystical, you will love two of her performances. One of them is "Wicked Game" and she sings that song in English. A lot reactors start with a wow and they don’t know that the intro with the sirene is song by Aurora Aksnes in the original, and several of the covers use her intro. She made her own version of the song, imo it is much better than the original. It is calm and mystical.
