Sir, FYI at that point in time, she was famous throughout Norway and Sweden. At age 8 her people declared her their NATIONAL TREASURE. To this day this stands. Young Norwegians see her as their role model (Work hard and focus to make your dreams come true). For all of the said nations she is a hero. If Miss Angelina is on a visit to her home country and family (she resides now in LA) and takes a walk on the streets of Oslo, people will wave at her and call "Heya Angelina" but do not bother her with autographs....mostly. Like most young artists Angelina started with cover songs and has a few hundred videos of covers online however she has also been writing songs since she was about 10 and has said that she has written over 100. Her song ideas and lyrics are taken from her journals that she has been writing since she was a little girl. Her originals are pretty fire too. 13 originals have been released to date, several more have been recorded but not yet released and she debuted a couple other unreleased originals at recent concerts including Las Vegas and LA. I believe going forward most of her new rekeased material will be originals as writing seems very important to her.

You ain’t see nothing yet. These are two very nice songs, but she has so many covers and amazing performances that you can’t possible react to all of them on You Tube. As good as the videos are, her live performances are even better. I have attended 4 of her performances and hate for them to end. What separates AJ from anyone else is her ability to create emotion for her listeners. No one has ever made me “feel” like Angelina Jordan through their performances. The music business knows her and she is going to come out to the public like a freight train, however, she is in no hurry as she still has a private life while she is young. If she performs near you, go see her. She is fabulous.

I do understand what you're talking about with the artists that don't wear shoes, and I agree, mostly; however, with Angelina Jordan, her 6-year-old incident in the Middle East where she gave her favorite lined sea-green shoes to the no-shoe girl with scarred feet who was working on the side of the street weighing people really left an impression on her and her soon-to-be group of fans, who are now called angels. If you look at the different videos of her rehearsals or whenever she's not singing on stage, she's always wearing shoes, and she sounds just as great with her shoes on. Angelina Jordan is a very empathic person, which, along with her timeless voice and humble personality, really puts her in a different category that all of us strive to be like someday. ❤️ P.S. Even more impressive than this video appears. The day before this performance, Angelina's Mom read the original lyrics & she told her that the lyrics weren't appropriate for a 10 yo to sing. So Angelina completely rewrote the lyrics in less than 24 hours to make it about "Love" instead of "Sex & Drugs. This performance is the 2nd & last take, that's why she was reading her handwritten lyrics on the music stand. It was only the 2nd time she sang it with her new lyrics. We are talking prodigy writing skills in addition to World Class singing skills. Just sayin'!!!

We have confirmation of Angelina's genius. In the description on the video, for this performance, on Angelina's Official KZbin channel, she writes "So here it is, We recorded this yesterday with amazing orchestra KORK. My version of "Back to Black by Amy Winehouse" I had 1 day to change the lyrics, hope you like my version!" She was 10 years old. The story has been told, that her mother, Sara, read the original lyrics, the day before the recording session and then told Angelina she couldn't sing them. KORK, had rehearsed the song, so Angelina had to write lyrics to fit the music and she nailed it, beautifully. There is a news feature video from NRK TV in Norway, where Angelina, her family and a couple friends visit a amusement park and are interviewed. The latter part of the video shows Angelina in a car, reviewing her new lyrics to this song, on her way to the recording session. She only needed a couple takes to make this final video. Angelina and KORK(Norwegian Radio Orchestra) have worked together at least three times: Back to Black, Summertime and Unchained Melody at last year’s Nobel Peace Prize Concert! Amy was one of Angelina's recorded mentors. As with all her recorded mentors, she has learned styles and skills, sounds and techniques from her. But her mom felt the lyrics of this song were not age appropriate for Angelina. So Angelina rewrote the lyrics on short notice, finishing on the way to the studio. And did it so well there were no changes made to the instrumentals. She just wanted to do the sound of the song, the sound of Amy. She has done a number of tribute songs to her recorded mentors, as you will see. It is bewildering that she has been so good for so long and is still just a teenager. She's a child legend. Angelina started singing when she was 1 1/2 years of age and there is video of her at that age sitting in a bed with a microphone in her hand singing Whitney Houston's "I will always love you ". You need to go back to when Angelina was 6 years old in the studio singing and recording a Tom Jones classic " I who have nothing " and work your way to current day. Angelina is 18 years old now as of January 10th 2024.
