Nice reaction Tee! That small event in L.A. was called Jesse and Friends. Wow, this official release of Bad Valentine is really good! This version is definitely radio ready and has a nice beat to it. A special thanks to Andy keeping us informed what was going on at the show while the show was in progress! Andy was like our inside man! LOL Boy, I cannot wait for all of the videos with all of the songs she did. We'll see what James and Chris can do with their magic! 21 songs....can't wait for them!

🎶👣💫🌹 I love this song. There are parts of it at like better than the pub and there are parts in the pub that I like better. The beginning versus have more clarity here and she changed some phrasing later on that enhance the experience. I do am more than ready for her momentum to take flight. I know she can do it! Yes, California and especially LA is all about the cars, the sunsets, and the vistas. She's looking good in that 60s Ford Mustang 😍.

I loved your reaction Tee ad I loved both versions, the only thing is I liked the way the lyrics were put together on the bridge on the first version better, they changed the if you're only going to see what you want to see, you're never going to know me better, I just thought it fit better. But I still like both, they have it mixed well so her voice is front and center, so it can be heard really well.

I love this,especially since it's radio ready which is so important at this point.Some don't like the oversimplified video,but for getting new fans the focus as much as possible needs to be her heavenly vocals.Go crazy on videos when she's #1,if she wants.

I love a simple video. No qualms about the frame but he could have done so much more with it. It has continuity problems, her body language doesn't match the lyrics etc. That is all direction. The beauty of the song, the perfection of her voice was done a disservice. Sorry but I honestly think, Toby should stick to what he does BEST, writing hit songs.

One thing to understand about this studio version is that unless it was re-recorded recently, this is what Angelina and Toby recorded a while back, long before the live version we are used to. Therefore this was the original intent. The live version is more a Piano Diaries style which was more in keeping with the performance that evening. A Piano Diaries version is being released next month. Maybe it will be similar to the live version.

Toby and Angelina worked on and recorded 8 new songs prior to the release of her Old Enough EP. These songs were left unreleased. One of these songs was Bad Valentine. So this song could be as much as 2 years old. We don’t know for sure if they are working on additional new music. We shall see

I think so as well, but still pretty disappointed with the video though. My only critique for AJ and it might be a directional thing but the song didn't match the lack of emotion on AJ's face or body language! The lounge performance is still the best!

Was playing this yesterday while driving and couldn’t help keeping with that beat slapping on my steering wheel! The live pre-release was perfection but this is Genius! If you're talking about the first performance of BV, I know. I still liked her performance (body language) much better there. Her vocal will always be remarkable no the circumstances but I would have loved the emotions of the song to match in the video! I blame the director. LOL. AJ can do no wrong, lol

Love the song! love the lyrics! love Angelinas voice! love the drums and the new musical arrangement, but I find the video quite boring. Like to think though, that Toby did it with the thought that Angelinas voice does not need more than this, and he did it to show that ✌️🥀

Hello Tee. You mirror my thoughts so closely that it’s uncanny. The video was sort of minimalistic, but maybe that was intentional. However, the scenery was spectacular, and NOTHING can diminish the brilliance of Angelina’s performance, or detract from the spectacular genius of her talent and the beauty of her voice. The song remains world-class no matter what’s happening around it. As for her long-awaited explosion onto the world stage I, like you, don’t understand why it hasn’t happened yet. The ”finishing school” theory no longer carries the weight it did when it was first proposed. I cannot help but reference the contrasting Adele story. Her first album, released at age 19, debuted at number 1 in the UK the same week it was released and in the top 10 in 15 countries (including the US), and went on to be listed in the top 20 best-selling albums of all time in the UK (and I think I read that several of the songs on the album were simultaneously in the top 5 in the UK). And where is our Angelina?? Nowhere near a chart so far. Is Adele better than Angelina? Different, but certainly not better in my opinion (others may disagree). Does it all boil down to the brilliant and vigorous promotion that Adele had, in sharp contrast to what Angelina appears to have had? Incidentally, Adele's talent and class speak for themselves...she has never had to resort to twerking in a bathsuit on stage, like so many of the "top artists" out there do.
