Nice reaction! The pronunciation of the name is Lion-El Rich ee. The song Endless Love was the main theme song for the romantic drama movie of the same name from 1981 starring Brooke Shields. Lionel Richie wrote the song and sang this with Diana Ross and the song was a huge hit. Why don't you look on KZbin for Lionel Richie. You'll probably recognize the man and maybe some of his songs. He started out being with a group called the Commadores before going solo. During the early 1980's, he and Michael Jackson were very popular. Currently, he is one of the judges on American Idol....
