Angelina was the last performance of the day. Very long day for a 7 year old and she was fantastic ! Mom knows she will be sharing her child with the world after this performance.

Here is a quote from Angelina (7y) from an interview with TV2 after her Auditions NTG 2014. "The reason I chose this song is completely random. I love jazz, but" Gloomy Sunday "was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad where I wanted to listen to jazz on KZbin before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming at the sky and with her eyes closed. I heard the song "Gloomy Sunday" that night and then I had to hear it every day. I love the melody. I understood well what the text was about because I know English well. Every time I sang it I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. When I sang it for mom, she said that this song is nice, but that it was incredibly sad song. " ♥👣👸🏻🎷 In a interview after this performance Angelina's mom was asked why she was crying during her performance?? Were they happy tears?? Mom said; " They were happy tears but they were also sad tears because I know I just lost my daughter to the world. ♥👣👸🏻🎷

Can you believe how calm and poised she is.. at 7 performing live in a competition of this kind... it is just incredible to me.... as for her voice and musicality: the best I have ever encountered.... I am addicted !

It was recorded in the Studios of the Waldorf School, Oslo as part of the after school activities. Once you listen to Billie Holiday's original, it will be clear as to why everyone said she was reincarnated into Angelina. the girl is a 'vocal chameleon', able to emulate any A-List singer she desires, even Adele.

Her Mom Sara is the one in the black leather coat with the white scarf ,, they asked her why she was crying and she said she just realized she had to share her baby with the world..... And we are glad she Does!!!!! AJ has said in interviews that she does not have Any nerves singing in front of 10 people or 40,000 in concert or millions on live stream she says to her singing is like breathing,, she does admit that she gets nervous talking and in interviews,, also not she sings mostly in English but its her 3rd language of the 5 she speaks and she also plays at least 4 instruments, ,, keep up the good reactions of AJ she has about 170 before she was 14 ,,,, she is currently 17 as of Jan 10 2023 and dropping an album under Republic Records this year

Thanks so much for seeing the beginning of her journey. This video went viral and got her international fame. She goes on to win the show at 8 singing the classic Summertime. At 8 she performed in Europe, Asia, and America helping raise many euros for children's charities. Performed on the American TV show The View, performed at the Nobel Peace Prize concert for Save The Children charity, had an acting role portraying a nightclub singer on the Netflix series "Lilyhammer" and released a Christmas record on Spotify. We are truly fortunate to witness the evolution of this future superstar. It doesn't matter what you view it's going to be amazing!

Thanks for your willingness to go back to her NGT audition. What's truly amazing to me is that at 7 she speaks to the judges in Norwegian & then sings a Billie Holliday song in perfect English. (She also sounds a lot like Billie Holliday's original.) Hope you will also react to her other 3 NGT performances (I'm A Fool To Want You, Bang Bang & Summertime). Even with how cute the backstage interview is (with her barely able to get up into the chair) and how confident she is onstage, and how surprisingly well she sings the song, and her mother crying in the wings, and the joy on Angelina's face when she gets the standing ovation… even with all that, I think the _one thing_ that "gets me" more than anything else in this video is her "Yes?" response to Omer (the judge) when he addresses her as the applause is dying down. She's in front of probably the largest crowd she's performed for up to that point, not to mention the judges and TV cameras, having done what she'd dreamed of doing for _years_ , and having just absolutely _crushed_ it… and she's *immediately* ready to have a conversation with Omer. The "causal" way she says, "Yes?"… as if to say, "Yes? How can I help you?". It just gets me every time. I have to laugh out loud.

I'm glad you listened to the English subtitled audition. It seems important for people to hear what the judges say to her and to each other afterward. How great that she received affirmation from the adults around her regarding what she herself knows about her "raison d' etre", that is, "reason for being."
