Most people are great. More than that, lovers of music and passionate about it. They get very excited to share. And I love that! But the thing that bothered me was thinking that I was treating an artist with disrespect. I’ve had some mean mean mean people troll me (that had absolutely nothing to do with Angelina) and I literally laughed out loud because it was so funny to me. Angelina Jordan had just turned 12 here, and she was testing out her new Neumann Microphone TLM 103 that she had gotten from the military band, Forsvarets Stabsmussikkorps, that she did their album "It's Magic" with. She had this posted for a few days and then took it down. Someone else put the video up a little over a year later, and I think it's funny because she had the microphone backwards since it was her first time using it, and she still sounds incredible! ❤️

Love your reactions! Just stay you, you're doing great. Those who get overly critical of minor errors or misinformation really need to hear Angelina's plea for all of us to be kind to each other. A correction, or point to be made can still be done with kindness. To me there is no need to be caustic or insulting, ie: Regarding her age in this video, it is generally believed that she is actually 12. As she received this mic for her 12th birthday and this is the first video in which it appears. The 13 in the title is considered to be a mistake. This young woman now she is 18, makes me wish i was 30 years younger so i could watch her progress to be the greatest female singer ever or at least up their in the top 3 of female singers. i believe in the next 10 or so years she will win more Grammy's Oscar's and other music awards than any other female artist dead or alive. I have made corrections to some things that reactors have said but always in a polite way so they are informed. (For example,, apparently Angelina is actually 12 here, the original video I mis labeled) I’ve never understood why some viewers get nasty about it. That really upsets me. Great reaction. This is one of my favorite covers Angelina performed in her earliest years (have to be careful how I word that; everything she's done is early years by the standards of most artists-lol), and the advanced microphone technique of holding it backwards to protect the very sensitive new mike for the strong vocals is outstanding. Another cover of this Etta James classic that wows just about everyone is by Beth Hart and Joe Bonnamassa, performed on their Live in Amsterdam DVD. It is a very different take that showcases the musical sensibilities of both.
