Great reaction. Great to see you back with Angelina. Angelina was 16,5 years old here. The live version you mentioned was recorded on June 23rd last summer and was part of one of Norway's most popular televised music programs, called "Allsang På Grensen", which translates to Singalong At The Border. IMO she performed the song even better live. The recording was her 2nd take in a row, with only like two minutes between, due to the producers not being happy with the wind condition during the first take. The performance was also her first time live on a stage since the pandemic. As we all know, the pandemic put a halt to everything social for quite a while. Still she pulled it off like a 40 year old absolute consummate professional. I don't know if you are aware, but Angelina recently (July 21st this year) released a six song EP containing solely originals. The EP is called "Old Enough". She shows us a new side to her (or several) through these 6 songs, and they are all AMAZINGLY good. Her pen game is definitely on fire. She was live in the chat during the release, and when she was asked about it, she told us that she has already written more than 100 songs, and that she would want nothing more than to be able to release a new album every two months...LOL Her debut album will be released later this year, and that's when her record label Republic Records will start to promote her for the first time ever. Angelina will turn 18 on January 10th, so the timing is perfect. Take care! This is my favorite version of this song by her. Whitney, being a soprano, is a little better in the power high notes, but Angelina owns the lower register & the softer, emotional parts, Imo.
