I am absolutely certain that this video and the Elvis cover were shot at the same time, well before Angelina's trip to Norway. Both high-end produced videos were produced by Angelina's own label. After Angelina explained in her last concert on July 10th why she sings this song (they dedicate it to her grandma) I hear this song completely differently. 💯 *AJ* 💯

Karaoke night is fun, I love doing that with friends as well :-) Ain't this a perfect start of the Sunday and for you the perfect lullaby. She starts out soft and delicately and soon and with strength and conviction. Both fit the story of the doing wonderfully. During her last live concert she dedicated it to her grandmother who is recovering. Each time when I think she cannot possibly get any better, she proves me wrong and I'm so glad to wrong! She really loves this store and it is a beautiful venue to record these three iconic songs. 5 minutes of perfection and now you can sleep peacefully:-)

AJ's performance is absolutely stellar. She has to belt near the top of her range, and she handles the key change perfectly. Very little vocal strain or pressure. Like you said, her riffs during the coda are from another planet -- and the way she sustains fry and vibrato throughout her runs is her signature: easily the best I've every encountered. This is what happens when you bring a jazz mentality to pop.

Anelina is truly a jazz artist, not merely reproducing songs when she covers them, but elaborating on her own covers in different performances. I love her subtlest and her longest runs both, they show great mastery over the marvelous instrument that is her voice. You can hear the nuances of years of work and exploration in music. Angelina sings “I Have Nothing” at Allsang på Grensen, Norway on June 22…LIVE. (Her arrangement.) Norway’s TV2, had huge technical difficulties. They contracted to record Live, the televised version, which meant that Angelina had to sing this song twice . . . back-to-back! Do you have any idea what this did to her voice? Difficult song to begin with! Such a professional. A Diva 🌺

Great & fun reaction Omeezy. Looks like they even gave Angie the rights to her version of the song. Dropped 7-23-22. She’s 16. I love how Angie put in some of her jazzy back phrasing in it also. Check out more from Angie’s 3 concerts in Norway, Angie even opened her 7-7-22 concert with a new cover called “Mt Everest” I felt it was better then the original. 7-1-22 in Kurbadhagen, 7-7-22 at Kongsberg & 7-10-22 again at Kurbadhagen. Angie had a lot of fun & so did the fans. (Mattias Axelsson, Vidar Enerud, Kathrine Angeltveit & Trond Andersen are good channels to start with. They have some good recordings & video's) Angie did over 50 songs on those 3 concerts.

I love, love, love this cover. I hate to say it but I didn't enjoy her Elvis cover, 'Suspicious Minds', as much (it was too slow for me - as an Elvis fan). This however, was other worldly!! Also, why doesn't anyone ever mention how ridiculously beautiful she has become. When God was giving out talents I'm sure she queued more than once in the beauty and singing aisles. She is just mesmerising!!

One of the unique things about the human species is that we don't all like the same things. Indeed, it would be a very boring world if we did. I am constantly searching for new singers to add to my playlist and discovered Sohyang when her first video was uploaded to KZbin. She is a fine singer and I do listen to her occasionally. However, for me, and remember this is a personal opinion, although it is shared by many others, Angelina is the best singer in the world: not only for the purity of her voice and her ability to sing so many genres but above all for the fact that when she sings she becomes the song and is able to understand and interpret the true emotional meaning within the lyrics and allow us to share those emotions by communicating them to us.
